Decent airport dining experience. Reasonably comfortable seating. Music was loud and jazzy, enough to dim ambient conversations and I didn’t find it to be too annoying. Pretty diverse cocktail menu, which was a pleasant surprise. Drinks came out fairly quickly, food took awhile but that was fine because we had plenty of time to kill. Pancakes and eggs were decent, definitely on the pricier side but I suppose that is to be expected at any airport. Conveniently located across from the restrooms.

I had a nice breakfast here. Eggs made to order any style! Very convenient tables. Little pricey, but common for a restaurant inside the airport

The esthetic is nice considering the restaurant is located in the airport. It is directly across from the restrooms, which is convenient. The menu is overpriced. We spent $116.99 for everything you see. The quality was not bad, but it was not exceptional. I would try another restaurant if we returned. This has no reflection on the staff. It’s a matter of price versus quality. If the menu was cost effective and the ambiance improved, I would give it a five-star review. The lights, music, and extremely loud travelers take away from the experience. Not to be harsh. We have enjoyed more relaxing environments in the airport. The proximity to the restroom and lounge area is a double-edged sword. The experience left me with a nauseated migraine.

Great atmosphere and food! Like the open seating and QR code server still came and made sure our food was in and if we needed anything else. Beware he has great hearing and was about 7 ft away and he heard us asking each other about straws. Wings are deliciously flavored and 12 for 26 is not bad for the airport! Anytime we fly through Philly we will be back.

On January 5 at approximately 4:20 PM, I was seated at table 433, seat 1, and paid in cash. The male staff member with spectacles who took my order behaved unprofessionally by directly asking me for a tip, which made me uncomfortable.
After I did not leave a tip, the staff member discussed the situation with other staff, including two female employees, who then looked at me in a way that made me feel judged and embarrassed, as if I had done something wrong.
Tipping should never be demanded, especially in an airport environment, where many travelers are budget-conscious, tired, and under stress. Guests should never be pressured, shamed, or treated differently based on tipping decisions.
This experience negatively impacted my time at the airport. At a high-class establishment like Independence Prime located in an international airport, this type of behavior is unacceptable. Staff conduct of this nature needs to change immediately.
Airport dining establishments should uphold the highest standards of professionalism, respect, and customer service. Employees should be trained to respect customer boundaries and never pressure guests regarding tips.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve staff behavior and overall customer experience.

If I could give less than one star, I would. This was not how I wanted to end my girls trip. The bartender was extremely rude and actually raised his voice at me when I politely asked for an update on my order. The service overall was very disappointing — we had to place our orders on our phones, our server was barely attentive.
The food arrived cold and took over 30 minutes to reach our table, even after I asked for an update. It truly felt like we were forgotten. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to a manager about a refund, he had us process it ourselves through our phones. Overall, a very frustrating, overpriced, and disappointing experience.

I’m actually really impressed with the quality of the food we ordered. Husband got a chicken sandwich – the chicken was juicy, well-spiced, and HUGE! I ordered a beet salad and added salmon (+$11) and it’s seriously the most delicious salmon I’ve had in a while. It all was way pricier than we would have liked, but all airport food is more expensive than it ought to be. It’s also a super busy, noisy location so the atmosphere left much to be desired.

Really not a bad experience. Food is overpriced, sure since airport and all, but very decent. Service was fast and great. The lady serving the tables was very nice and good. The breakfast platter came out within 15 minutes of ordering.

Prime located at 8000 Essington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19153 terminal B is pretty good! I had a grilled cheese sandwich which came out quickly with fries. They were out of tomato soup. Waitress Roxanne was great!

We had dinner here. It’s expensive, as other places in any airport, but what we ordered was very tasty and had very good quality. Cindy treated us very well and recommended some beers. I’m pleased that we stopped here to get some rest and eat
