Fantastic meal tonight. Our 1st time on the recommendation of a friend. Ideal location opposite Hayes station with great train & bus links. An authentic Italian feel and staff were all so friendly & welcoming. We were there at 5.45 when it was just opening and had the whole restaurant to ourselves to start with. It gets popular from7pm onwards. Would recommend the Tempura prawns, Nanno’s seafood spaghetti, mixed grilled fish, followed by crème brûlée and double expresso. So important to support these local independent restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent standard of food enjoyed over three courses by all five people in our party. Friendly and efficient service too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We’ve been coming here since they recently opened. Great service, with a warm and friendly welcome from the team. There are regularly changing specials, but the chef is flexible and will accommodate your requests where possible. Tonight we enjoyed delicious mussels, Lobster Thermidor, a delicious Chicken Kiev, crème brûlée. Book early, it’s getting more and more popular and often fully booked.

Only been able to go once due to their strange opening times (12-2 just doesn’t make sense to me then reopening at 5:45). It’s very very loud in there so you do have to shout to be heard. Food was good though very tasty. However because of their opening times I’m not sure when I’ll be back. They are always closed when I try to go.

We’ve eaten at Nonno quite a few times, the food is delicious and the service good. I am coeliac, but have no problem eating there as there’s always amazing alternatives or dishes can be tweaked to accommodate me.

Another amazing meal at Nonno’s this Sunday lunch. The restaurant was busy as always we chose the set Sunday lunch menu. The traditional Calabrian Pasta and Fagioli took my husband back to his younger years in Italy, and the Gnocchi Bolognese were authentic and cooked to perfection. The owner surprised us also to their home made spare ribs which again another pleasant trip down memory lane. This was followed by the cod with seafood and rack of lamb. This authentic Italian restaurant is a hidden gem and a must to go and visit! Staff were polite and attentive. Buon appetito!

Not worth the money we paid. Salmon pasta had carrots and no flavouring whatsoever. First fillet steak was dry as a bone for medium and nowhere near the 10oz advertised. Think it may have been put in the microwave. Complained, they took it away and after a couple of minutes they brought it back and I was told chef said it was medium and he knows so I was wrong. Sent back. Second steak better size and more juicy. Had some side bits missing but as everyone else had long finished I said nothing. I think maybe the chef thinks they are something special and adds bits cos they know best. Cheesecake tasted like it was shop bought. Will not be coming back and would not recommend
