Reviews
Everyone was friendly, even the other customers. It was truly a family atmosphere.
We have a service dog and everyone told her hello. We definitely recommend this restaurant
The staff is wonderful and the nicest people you will ever meet. The customer are just as sweet. This is what a diner should be. Amazing food like what you would get in grandmas kitchen and a welcome home feel. The portion sizes are LARGE so be prepared to take home and have your meal for at least another meal or possibly 2!! We definitely recommend the tenderloin but everything looked amazing. There is large selection of down home favorites on the menu and don’t forget dessert. the price for such great food is unbelievable.
Definitely don’t miss this stop!! Come in make your self at home, and don’t forget to come very hungry. We will be back tomorrow and bringing my grandmother with us before hitting the road again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and the great food you guys are nailing it.

Shannon wanted to do some shopping at the Edinburgh Premium Outlet mall. So after a nice motorcycle ride from Brown County to Edinburgh I dropped her off at the mall. I then set out to find some gas for the motorcycle and lunch for my tummy.
Big Red’s Place in the old downtown of Edinburgh was my lunch destination. Today’s special was two coney dogs and fries. Trust me, I had a hard time passing that up but I did. Two farmers were also lunching there and they said Big Red’s had the best breaded pork tenderloin around. So since I had recently tried the Edinburgh Diners tenderloin I decided that I would try Big Red’s and compare.
Big Red’s tenderloin did not disappoint. It was big, thick, meaty and the breading was good and stayed adhered to the meat. It had good flavor and I’m guessing it was cooked in fresh oil. The crinkly fries were hot and crisp, everything that you would want in a fried spud. Washed it down with two cold Arni Palmers.
The prices are very reasonable!
It was a very good meal and I enjoyed it very much. The service was great and the company of my two new farmer friends was even better.
5 Stars for Big Red’s……
Until next time Bon appetit
Ps. My next review will hopefully be about salad and water. Breaded pork tenderloins are a little heavy in this heat.
