I stopped into Dairy Queen in Powell, Ohio to grab lunch for my crew from The Heating and Cooling Pro, and it was a great experience all around.

I want to give a big thank-you to Kai for the excellent customer service. The interaction was pleasant, smooth, and professional — it’s the small things that really make a difference when you’re trying to take care of your team.

The food was fresh, hot, and prepared correctly, and the service was quick, which I really appreciated while on a workday schedule. The store was clean and well run, and the staff clearly cares about customer experience.

Great service, great food, and a place I’ll definitely keep coming back to.

Solid spot when you’re craving ice cream or a quick treat. The Blizzards are consistently good and there’s a nice variety of flavors to choose from. That said, service can be hit or miss depending on the location and how busy it is, and wait times sometimes feel longer than they should be. The food options are okay but not anything special compared to the desserts. Overall, it’s a good place for a sweet fix, just don’t expect a flawless experience every time.

Locally owned & operated and cares deeply about the community. Always very happy with our experience with the young people working here. Thank you so much!

John and his team at our local Dairy Queen were outstanding! When I drove thru with my hands full and juggling way too many desserts, John immediately noticed and went out of his way to help me out. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely kind, even though we arrived a bit early. It’s rare to see that level of service and care these days. Huge thanks to John and the whole crew for making a simple ice cream stop such a great experience!

I tried scanning the code on my receipt to submit the feedback, but it kept giving me an error, FYI!

Been coming here for a while, last visit I order a medium twist as usual and miss personality hands me a cone with not much ice cream on it. I ask if it’s a medium and she replies “yup” and closes the window. Was this my last visit to a DQ? Yup!

This Dairy Queen was not busy. We stood at the counter forever while the 2 employees focused on the drive thru. Totally ignored us. We finally gave up and left. At least acknowledging someone who is waiting.

Really bad experience last night at this location. We placed a mobile order at 7:55 pm for chicken fingers basket and 2 blizzards. Time quoted for pickup was 8:07pm and the app tracked our location. We arrived and entered the restaurant at 8:00pm and found it to be a mess in terms of efficiency. I patiently waited until about 8:11pm before catching an employee to ask about my order status. The ticket had been printed out, but they hadn’t even started the food yet. The Blizzards were sitting on the counter melting. We didn’t receive the food until approx. 8:25pm. No apologies. No compensation. Just a mess overall.

Every time I come to this Dairy Queen – I order the same thing a blizzard with extra peanut butter cup. I pay extra for the peanut butter cup and every single time I barely get crumbs. Why even charge extra if you can’t even put in at least one scoop? It’s literally every single time. Are the employees not trained or do you not like giving people what they pay for?

I came here with my family on the evening of Wednesday, August 16th. When we got there we saw that the drive-through line was super long (at least 15 cars), so we decided to go inside to order our food. Unfortunately, the establishment appeared to be very short-staffed (I didn’t see more than 4 employees), and it felt like an extremely hectic environment (there was lots of noise coming from the kitchen…). The person that took my order didn’t know how to apply a coupon we had, and she had to bring over her manager. The manager was able to apply the coupon, but it was obvious she was very stressed (other customers were coming up to complain about their orders, multiple employees were asking her questions, it was simply a hectic environment). It took roughly 20-30 minutes for my blizzard to come.
Regardless of all of that, I got the Mint Brownie blizzard, and it was DELICIOUS! It hit the spot; but it’s unfortunate that the service and atmosphere were pretty terrible…

I just came through the drive thru 20 minutes ago and the service was not good. There was a nice girl at the window but the man who took my order must have not been there or something, I asked what sauce came with the garlic Parm chicken and he said “uhhh garlic?” Then my food came without a proper box and was wrapped in a napkin. On top of that the garlic Parm sauce wasn’t made right and made it too salty to eat. Not sure what’s going on with the night shift crew here but at least the ice cream was ok.
