La Gloria is a Mexican restaurant in Bothell very near 405. It has a sizable bar that shares restaurant space with an Asian restaurant called Inchin’s Bamboo Garden. The receipt calls out both restaurants. I met a friend for an early dinner and ran into a sizeable group of office workers who were there for happy hour. They were loud! I asked if we can move tables, and the server accommodated moving us to a table on the Inchin side of the restaurant, which didn’t appear to be open that day. Phew, it was so much quieter; we didn’t have to yell at each other anymore. Service was smooth and swift. A copy of their menu can be found on their FB page but subject to change. Parking is readily available at the building complex-lot.
The Food:
Quesabirra Tacos, $16 – 4 Stars
This order includes two tacos, with a side of beef consommé for dipping. Diced onions and salsa round out this dish. The slow cooked shredded beef is very tender and flavorful. The consommé has pieces of beef to fish out. I dipped with the salsa instead. For the ambiance of being in a restaurant, this dish is good. If I only want tacos, there are taco truck options that are just as good at a lower price.
Enchiladas Poblanas with Chicken Tinga, $16 – 4 Stars
My friend orders this dish regularly. The enchiladas are topped with a creamy roasted poblano pepper sauce. It is not a spicy dish. Good for those who wants a departure with tomato-based sauce.
They gifted a refried bean tostada to all diners.

I’d been wanting to try this place for quite some time, and finally decided to stop by on a whim and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and the service was great. Our waitress (wish I’d caught her name) was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive and always smiling.
They have live music on Fridays, and it really added to the vibe! The food and drinks were phenomenal. We were offered a complimentary tostada, which was very unique. Our group ordered spicy garlic prawns and enchiladas poblanas — creamy, flavorful and delicious!
Oh and if you enjoy some heat in your food, definitely ask for their spicy sauce, it’s delicious!

We went in with high expectations but found the experience somewhat underwhelming. The chicken tinga nachos were packed with flavor and definitely a highlight. However, the fish tacos were very fishy and were only average in taste. While the drinks were well-prepared and enjoyable, they took 20-30 minutes to arrive, after we had already started eating. The service was likely delayed due to how busy the restaurant was. On a positive note, the complimentary tostadas were excellent and a nice touch.

My on a Friday night and it was a lot of fun with a talented mariachi band playing. Food was really fantastic and better than typical “americanized” Mexican restaurants with endless combos. The quality of the steak ribeye tacos was quite impressive and we loved the nachos with carne asada.
