The space itself is stunning and sets the tone for a very elevated Italian experience. Every detail, from the lighting to the interior, feels intentional and sophisticated.
The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really feel the attention to detail in every dish.
What made the experience even more special was the hospitality. The team was gracious, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening.
A must-visit in SoHo for anyone looking for a chic, upscale Italian restaurant in NYC. I will absolutely be coming back.
We ordered the chicken parm & salmon. Surprised that it came with no sides, usually restaurants serve it with something. Disappointed our server didn’t even mention that we can add a side.
The salmon tasted nice, but the chicken was dry and tough. Cheese was great.
The cheesecake tasted weird. It had a tangy taste, almost like a cream cheese & Greek yogurt blend. The tiramisu was also meh. It lacked flavour depth. Definitely not worth the calories.
Left the restaurant, and not too long after, my stomach wasn’t feeling great! Maybe the cheesecake was indeed bad.
The food itself was adequate nothing terrible, but nothing memorable or worth returning for either. For a restaurant with such a nice atmosphere, I expected much better.
What truly ruined the evening was how chaotic and loud the environment was. There were groups of screaming students along with visibly drunk parents, which made the restaurant feel more like a noisy cafeteria than a place meant to enjoy a relaxed meal. It was nearly impossible to have a conversation at our table.
To make things worse, our table clearly wasn’t ready for service. Plates from the previous course weren’t cleared when our food arrived, which was awkward and uncomfortable. The restaurant manager came over to assist our server, but instead of resolving the situation smoothly, he seemed confused about what even needed to be done as if clearing the table wasn’t obvious.
First impressions didn’t help either. When we arrived, the hostess didn’t greet us at all no hello, no acknowledgment, nothing. It came across as extremely rude and unwelcoming and immediately set a negative tone for the night.
Nice ambiance and a kind server can’t make up for poor organization, a disruptive atmosphere, and mediocre food. Overall, I left frustrated and wouldn’t choose to dine here again.
Gabi made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Service was attentive and friendly.
We can’t wait to come back.
Our cocktail of the night was the di Cristallo — a beautifully layered drink with just the right mix of spice, fruit, and tea notes. Truly one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance and service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
