Fratello’s Prime Steakhouse in Hernando, MS was absolutely everything my friend and I were craving. From the moment we sat down, the vibe was perfect and it just kept getting better.
We both ordered the 8oz filet mignon entrées, cooked medium rare, and they were PERFECT. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. One came with Brussels sprouts and the other with steak fries, and both sides were delicious and paired beautifully with the steaks.
We started with the smoked gouda mac and cheese bites, and they were AMAZING. A little different in the best way, super creamy, smoky, crispy, and honestly hard to stop eating.
The service truly took the experience to the next level. Our waiter was incredible from start to finish. He checked on us consistently, always with a smile, and was very attentive without ever being overbearing. His recommendations were spot on. We also ordered a couple of cocktails. I had the lavender cocktail, which was refreshing and unique, and my friend ordered another cocktail I can’t remember the name of, but both were absolutely delicious.
Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and outstanding service, this was an all-around fantastic dining experience. If you’re looking for an upscale steakhouse with incredible flavors and top-notch service, Fratello’s Prime Steakhouse is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

This place has the best burgers. The five pepper burger is awesome and I think the only thing I have ever tried on the menu. The burger is like eating a piece of steak and was cooked perfectly medium and super juicy. Their fries are really good too but I think they changed them from the last time I was here. I wish I went to Hernando more so I could eat here often.

Fratello’s Prime Steakhouse in Hernando is absolutely outstanding — easily one of the best dining experiences in the area! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming, perfect for everything from a special occasion to a nice night out.
The food is exceptional every single time. The steaks are cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and full of flavor — and the sides and appetizers are just as impressive. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the quality is top-notch. The desserts are also a must-try if you have room!
The service here is another reason we keep coming back. The staff is professional, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect. They pay attention to every detail and make you feel like a valued guest.
And if you’re looking for a fun night out, Wednesdays are extra special — they host a free bingo night that’s always a blast! It’s a great way to enjoy an incredible meal and a little friendly competition all in one evening.

This place is awesome! The absolute best burger and Alfredo I have ever tasted. Loved the whiskey battered onion rings! Service was great! The signature drinks were to die for. Can’t say enough about how good the place is.

The atmosphere of this place was great. The server was funny and loved her. She was very helpful at helping us figure out what we wanted being first timers there. They do have two different menus, one for lunch and one for dinner, which we didn’t know so keep that in mind. Still had plenty of choices on the lunch menu. The place was casual and quiet. Hamburger, meatloaf and shrimp was all good. We found out when leaving that it is pet friendly on the patio that they have water dishes for you puppies. Will go back again if in town.

People who know nothing about how to run a restaurant should not own one.
had a family members come from out of town want to get other family together to have a great meal and visit (11 people).
The service was unbelievable the worst. The waiter seem to forget we was there. Once orders taken it all broke down. they brought out three orders then 30mins later brought couple more. two main course brought then 20mins after the salad show up. A child’s meal the bun was totally burnt black bun. It’s as if they picked and choose meals on the ticket to send out every 30min.
The owner needs to close and retrain every one once themselves learn how a successful restaurant operates. Just shameful.

My family and I went to have dinner and our server was ok at the start. She went to the back and came back out with a horrible attitude. Ignored our table, never came back to take our order, and walked past our table multiple times with a stank face. We were there for 15 minutes and could never get a food order in. Another kind generous server came to see if we were taken care of and we said yes due to us already having a server. Needless to say the original server never came to take our order. We kindly got up and left the restaurant. In addition the restaurant was not busy to receive this type of service. Was a lot better as Uncle Bubbas.

I had such high hopes for this place. Upon arrival my booth chair was broken and I sat in a hole with no cushion for the entirety of the meal with ripped vinyl scratching on my legs the whole time. My father could feel the boards and nails coming through on his side. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. After the first round which took a few minutes, it took over 15 minutes with our bottles sitting at the end of the table for a refill before my husband got fed up and went to the bar. It was NOT busy and defibately not busy enough for every drink at the table to be empty and sitting for 15 minutes. Our appetizers came out and looked great, tasted awful. We got the spinach dip and the mozzarella bread with marinara dip. The bread for the spinach dip was so stale and covered in a rancid tasting olive oil that it literally tasted like they got it out of the garbage. The spinach dip had barely any flavor to it at all. The Mozz. Bread and dip was okay but nothing fantastic. Whole table ordered steaks for entrees, they came back and told us they were out of filets which was the whole reason my Mother wanted to celebrate her birthday there. She settled for a NY strip, my FIL the sirloin, and my husband and I were going to split the 40oz tomahawk ribeye. It took FOREVER for our food to come out, which was wild since they were not busy and our steaks were all medium rare. Then they were all terrible. Only one was eaten and only because he just was so hungry he couldnt stand it. He said he would just deal with it but said the flavor and texture of the meat was not good at all. When mine and my husbands came out, it looked great, but was so nasty. It was fatty and full of the nastiest hard gristle. We asked for the steak medium rare, it came out so rare the blood was pouring out of it, the steak was hot on the outside and totally cold on the inside and the darkest purple color. So we sent it back. Told them just cook it to medium then. Came back 5 minutes later and the part where we cut it the first time was cooked but there was no change when we cut into the inside. So we cut the whole steak up thinking maybe that was just a rare spot. Nope, found nothing but not even good fat but rubbery and hard hard gristle and raw meat. For a 40oz steak there was maybe 8oz of actual steak and it was so full of cold blood you could smell it. Don’t get me wrong we can eat a medium rare steak with bloody juices no problem but straight cold blood, no. The potatoes tasted dirty like they hadn’t been washed. And had been sitting already made under a warmer most the day. My husbands mashed potatoes he said were okay but they had a weird dry skin on the outside like they had been sitting forever. My mother’s sour cream on her baked potato, she said smelled like a foot so she didnt touch it and her steak was so chewy she took one tiny bite and left the rest. They took off our 40oz steak after we refused it the second time coming back out, but we still had to pay for the potatoes. Which was ok since I did eat more than one bite of but they were not good. The waitress was pleasant but didnt check on us nearly enough and we had to ask for almost everything, nothing was anticipated and empty cups and more drinks to be filled sat forever and then we had to ask instead of her asking us if we would like another round. Then they brought a manager over and wanted me to explain in great detail what was wrong with my food, which I had no problem doing but being it was my Mother’s birthday and us ALL having a problem with our food, I felt they could’ve at least comped her a drink or a dessert, something other than oh want me to just get you something different. No we wanted our food correct or at least not to pay for all this disgusting food we all so clearly didnt hardly touch. Our bill was $200 for only one person to eat and a total of 5 beers and 2 cocktails. It was awful and we were so disappointed. The only reason they got a star is because I had to put at least one and because at least the bartender could mix a drink properly.
