If you’re a fan of popcorn, Blue Ridge Popcorn Company is worth a stop. With more than 25 flavors on offer, there’s something for every palate—whether you’re loyal to the classics like movie theater butter or kettle corn, or curious to try unique creations like pizza & wings, birthday cake, chocolate peanut butter, or Oreo cookies & cream.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked in, but the setup surprised me: large tubs of pre-popped popcorn from which staff scoop your selection into bags. While I did wonder how long the popcorn had been sitting out—there’s no clear indication of when it was popped—I assumed it was made earlier that day.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. As soon as I entered, the woman behind the counter greeted me and offered a sample (I passed, but appreciated the gesture). I kept things simple with a bag of kettle corn and treated myself to a small bag of the Oreo cookies & cream.

So I did not shop in Store I shopped on Whatnot. Spent hundreds of dollars on the popcorn. Received some burnt kettle corn. Got a refund from What not. The owners blocked me from Bidding any future sales they were having.
We only complained about the Burnt pieces in the Kettle corn but we didn’t say anything about the multi bags that were stale and did not taste fresh. I loved some of the flavors especially the Oreo. But to block me from buying my favorites again that is just rediculus and not a great business choice. I will definitely be buying from Poppingtons in South Carolina in the future. We are huge popcorn lovers in this family that we spend loads of money on it.
The feedback from the company says they packed the bags live on the site. We don’t know that for sure as I didn’t see it. Plus how long was the popcorn in the buckets before you sold the items.

We love going to BRP! The selection of great flavors is endless. Our favorites are Dill Pickle and Caramel so far. I picked up a few bags for Mother’s Day and birthday gifts. The reusable Tin was a great gift option.
