This bakery has been around since 1923, and it’s easy to see why it’s stood the test of time. I ordered two donuts: the original glazed and their signature Cyclops—a chocolate-glazed donut with a dollop of white buttercream nestled in the center where the hole would be. Both were just $1.25 each and absolutely hit the spot.

The bakery also offers kringles, eclairs, donut twists, loaves of bread, cakes, and a small selection of drinks. It shares a parking lot with a strip center, so there’s plenty of parking available.

The staff were friendly and helpful, patiently answering all my questions about their donut offerings since it was my first time visiting. Overall, a charming, old-school bakery that’s worth a stop for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Normally we get our birthday cakes here and that part is normally fine and great.

However, when you’re getting baked goods and you were first to ask and get them, they instead gave it to folks behind us in line. Disappointed because the worker was aware of what we asked and even pulled the tray out to do so. Then proceeded to get our next set of bake goods before turning around and losing track of first two bake goods that we asked for. For the other coworker to have passed said order to people behind us in line. Which means we didn’t even get what we asked first it was passed off to people behind us. The employee was just confused even more. So no clue if their first day on job or whatever but that blows. It should had been us getting those but we didn’t. I’ll just stick to ordering birthday cakes then and not recommend anything else for now. Yes, they weren’t even busy when this went down it was legit us and maybe two other small parties. With three employee about.

Truly went above and beyond my expectations.

I went to Paielli’s to order simple sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles for a special work event. I didn’t even realize speaking to the cookie decorator was an option, but I’m so glad for the staff’s dedication and friendliness. Whoever decorated these did a STELLAR job and everyone was pleased. Plus, the cookies were delicious and affordable. Thank you!

This was my first time stopping here to grab a variety of items. Cookies, donuts and bread are all good. There are plenty more to choose from. Worth the stop to check out this iconic bakery. The people working the counter were very nice and helpful. You won’t be disappointed with whatever you choose!

Plenty of yummy baked goods, breads, pastries, muffins, cakes, cringle, all kinds of things! One of the only places in Kenosha, if not the only place, with proper butter croissants for a decent price.

Take out only bakery. I ordered a small variety of cinnamon rolls and pastries for breakfast. Everything was freshly made and tasty but didn’t knock our socks off.

Updated Review – 10/13/23: Today is Friday the 13th and bad things are supposed to happen…. but not today…. it was someone’s birthday at work and they brought in donuts from Paielli’s…. Mmmm!!! Delicious! I wish someone at work would bring them in every day! I love their donuts! Everyone does. One of my favorite donuts is their cake donuts. There is nothing better than a nice cup of coffee and a cake donut! I highly recommend everything from Paielli’s Bakery!

5+⭐
I’ve been to a lot of bakeries, German, swedish, Spanish, French, but Paielli’s Italian bakery is the stuff!

“Capito?” I’ve eaten their breads before because they’re sold in some of the stores around here. But never their num nums. Their donuts leave everyone else in the dust. O’ Brothers? CJ’s? Tim Hortons? Dunkin’ donuts? Krispy Kreme? And myriads of the smaller bakeshops. Paielli’s is the best.

Family owned and operated, been there since before I was born, and I was born in 1959. Do yourself a favor, go check it out and give your taste buds a treat.
