This is the restaurant at the Wyndham Running Y village. It’s past the lobby and has a small bar, some inside seats, and more seating outside with heat lamps and lively view facing a creek. The wooden interiors are warm and inviting. There are two free electric vehicle charging right outside.
The service staff are friendly and amicable. Kitchen staff are relatively slow – we waited 45min for our entrees. The salad came out about 30min from ordering. We got hungry and asked for bread rolls.
The menu is extremely limited and varies. Don’t trust what you see on the photos here or on Yelp.
The spinach salad we ordered didn’t have feta, so we asked them to add it and they obliged. There was a split plate charge to share. Vinaigrette was great.
Bread rolls were warm and butter was whisked. Excellent. We ordered a vegetarian pasta and a salmon in orzo with capers. The pasta was underscored with more oil than cheese. The salmon was too salted but cooked well, a touch rare.
Earlier, I ordered a mocha that was in a dark roast and was somewhat bitter with the taste of the chocolate too faint. I ordered another mocha the next day in the morning and it wasn’t much better. More of an inspired latte.
Bill came to about $95 before tip for a mocha, Diet Coke, salad, bread rolls, and two entrees.
For the time and money I’d go elsewhere next time. But this place will do in a pinch.

Easily one of the best dinner rolls i’ve ever had … dunno what they put in them but it got my attention I enjoyed my ribeye & a ceasar salad , the staff was all very friendly and it’s a neat place to sit & relax. FYI – I think the menu may change from time to time or be limited during the slow seasons . End of the day – I’d come and visit for dinner again anytime. Ignore any petty complaints, this is a cozy spot with good food.

Waited 56 minutes for apps and almost 70 minutes for dinner. While the food was good, it ruined our evening plans as it was too dark to do what we had planned.
Edit: thank you for the response. What was more upsetting than the wait, was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue while we were there. I’d recommend that acknowledging the challenge to lessen the frustration in the restaurant.

Wow! Excellent all around. Service was amazing! Food was outstanding, tasty, and filling. Drinks were on point. Have to be patient. It’s fine dining, so be prepared to socialize and be patient for your meal.

Was not anything worth writing home about. The restaurant is beautiful and located within the Running Y Ranch Resort which is gorgeous but that was about it. Patio has a great overlook of the golf course but was infested with flies and bees. The flies were even in the inside portion of the restaurant. Service was very minimal. I had to ask for more water every time and when my breakfast was brought out, the eggs and potatoes were cold; had to send it back. It was a bit disappointing but the resort is beautiful!

Really great experience. People are friendly and the food and overall service was spectacular! The locals (regulars) were fun to chat with. The entire experience was great. I wasn’t just a customer, I was having a great time, great food, and exceptional cocktails with friends I literally met that night.

It’s a pretty convenient place to dine when you’re staying here. We actually got two meals here— dinner and breakfast. The steak was very nice for dinner and I really enjoyed the avocado toast for breakfast. The banana pancakes were very nice and also the orange juice was worth the order. I think my favorite thing was the cucumber gimlet. I think I’ll even try to make one at home.

Nice view. The food took a while to come out. The kids menu burger was decent. Brussels sprout appetizer was good. The braised beef noodles weren’t too good. Prices are on the high side

We had a lovely supper in a very quaint and inviting setting. Our amazing server Bella was the cherry on top of a superlative meal and experience. My daughter had the Linguine Alfredo with Shrimp (which were fresh, plump and plentiful) and. Root Beer Float and I had their yummy Fish and Chips and delightful Peach Ice Tea.
From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. As we were staying over Bella sent us up to our room with extra drinks!
If you are looking for a relaxed vibe with amazing food and even better service you won’t do better than the Ruddy Duck.
Highly recommend. And sorry for your luck Bella – well be back!

The food is great here, the price is a little on the expensive side, the view from the outside deck is fabulous! We had the honey bourbon glazed Salmon, Clam Chowder and my Mother-in-law had the fish and chips all was great (the cole Slaw with the fish and chips was bland/no flavor)! I would highly recommend this place!
