I just love the spinach strombolis. It was fresh, looked delicious and it was sooo good. Reminded me of the ones I would get at the Sbarro in the BofA building in Charlotte. The counter guy was so nice and personable. His appearance was clean and he looked as if he took pride in himself and what he was doing. So happy to find an old favorite so far from home.

So I am a pizza fanatic, and once I heard of a New York style pizza coming into town I was stoked. Today I decided to come in and was just in shock at the selection, there was quite a bit. From there I went to order and customer service was excellent had no issues ordering and the people there were friendly. They then grabbed the slice from the display of pizzas which bothered me quite a bit due to it looking old like it had been sitting out for a while. They than cooked the pizza in the oven. It took a couple of minutes and was stoked to try it only to bite into the pizza and it be lukewarm at best. There was little to no flavor in the pizza, and could tell it was not cooked thoroughly as the sauce was cold and very chunky. The cheese was warm but not melted all the way and definitely was not the way I thought a New York style pizza should be I ate it as I wasn’t going to let a $5 slice of pizza go to waste. As I’m driving home I start to feel very queasy and nauseous. I get home and rush to the restroom to become sick to my stomach.

So we wanted to try out Sbarro, we get there and there are literally flies everywhere. What I thought was display pizza and items with flies all over it was actually the pizza they were serving if you were purchasing by the slice….this is beyond disgusting…I would advise placing an order for a fresh pie and waiting for it.

So, this was the first time I’ve ever received an undercooked pizza. The dough was definitely still raw and I could separate the cheese in one whole piece. I had to put it in the oven to cook it more. 0 out of 10, would not recommend. There are better gas station pizza you can choose from in town.
