Delicious! Delicioso! We started with chips and salsa. The chips were extra crunchy and fresh. The green salsa was picosita and the red was bland. I had the Tacos Mexican Style with rice and frijoles. Beef (asada) tacos were flavorful and extra tender, my favorite. The carnitas tacos were juicy! The tacos al pastor were seasoned to perfection. The rice and frijoles were fresh and warm. So good. My daughter had the chicken flautas platter. Each flauta was brimming with chicken, crunchy and tasty! If you want extra heat ask for the salsa in the bottle. Good job on #2 Mega Mercado!

This was my first time here with my husband. My husband has been here before raved about it. Checked it out tonight. Was sat in the corner booth where we got completely forgotten about. There were five service on the floor the server that was supposed to come to the table never showed up the only server that actually ended up taking over our table was Esmeralda. She was amazing and fantastic. She was working the whole floor for the most part I saw her literally go back-and-forth to every table checking on the service. I saw other servers just stand there. The bartender was absolutely terrible I ordered myself a glass of wine two servers came over cause they didn’t even know which wine it was. I ended up having to switch my drink to a Long Island iced tea. Took a long long time to get it to the table. When I finally got my drink it was so oversaturated with so much alcohol that I couldn’t even drink it. My husband actually had to get up and bring it back to the bar spoke with a manager his name was Christopher. Mind you he’s on his phone. Did not even acknowledge and was apologetic to the bad service. I asked Esmeralda to have the Manager come over to the table and he never showed up. This is a family owned business but clearly the family does not care about the service and the integrity of the business that’s going into this place. Like I said it was great food and I felt really bad for Esmeralda as she was busting her butt everybody else could Care less. It’s great food bad bad at atmosphere. More than likely I will not be back.

Fantastic lunch! Tacos were perfect so tender with perfect amount of toppings. Rice, beans and salsa were great sides. AND of course the ice cold cocktail was done just the way it should be!

My wife and I opted to try Mega Mercado over a normal lunch at Champs. It turned out to be a great decision. We arrived at 11 am on a Wednesday so it was not busy. We were seated right away, got thick tortillas and salsa, and our placed our order. The food arrived quickly. It tasted great. Food was flavorful. I ordered the flautas Diablo, and my wife got the super burrito. There were plenty of drink refills. Can’t wait to return.

After a while a very nice woman named Ezmarelda came to the table and helped us. She was amazing by the way!
Fast forward a bit! No silverware, being disregarded by staff, zero service, all can be fixed. What can not be fixed is poor managment!
My wife ordered a drink and it was very disappointing! It took 30 minutes to get it and when it arrived, she could not drink it! I, myself, got up from my seat to take it to the bar and asked for the manager.
A young man sitting in the corner booth on his cell phone got up and took the drink, no apology, didn’t try to say much of anything to make the service or product better. Christopher the manager took the drink and I explained that it was super strong and just wrong all the way around. Instead of coming to the table with the drink he sent some young girl to our table with a new drink. I guess he felt as customers, we didnt matter so it wasnt important to him to consider coming to make sure we were OK at that point!
When he never arrived, my wife asked our waitress to speak with him and instead of coming to our table, he decided to go to the parking lot to check out a motorcycle literally feet from our window. Great service and great food. I had the Mexican style taco with beef cheek. So tender and flavorful. My wife had 2 chicken and 2 cheese enchiladas. Both were great. We shared Chile relleno. Absolutely awesome. Jarely our waitress was attentive and friendly. Our first time here but will definitely be back. Great first impression.

This is the best authentic Mexican cuisine I’ve had in Lakeland. We had the pozole and the shrimp in chipotle sauce. The pozole was flavorful with a meaty bone-in broth. Add a few dashes of the hot orange salsa and it magically tranforms into a true authentic Mexican experience. I’ve been diligently searching for a chipotle sauce I had in Mazatlan over 12 years ago, this is it. This sauce is a smoky red sauce with a barely noticable heat. Delicious. You will not be disappointed. 10/10.

We were hesitant to go to this place after Tapatios closed, but it is every bit as good, if not better. It has a weird name but the food is really really good. Our waitress was still learning English so it was a little bit difficult to communicate, but she was incredibly sweet. The sangria was one of the best I’ve ever had. The “small” queso was more than enough for two people. We ordered the combo fajitas and shared it and it was very filling for both of us. I would definitely go back here. One of new my favorite Mexican places.

We had no expectations whatsoever going into this restaurant. Our minds were blown walking out. Literally top notch all the way.

You will see I give a ton of restaurant reviews. This place absolutely blew us away with the high quality of the food and very comfortable surroundings. The price was incredible for what was served. 10/10/10 totally will do again!!!!
