Not sure where some bad reviews come from but it’s a hidden gem! It’s kinda hard to find authentic Chinese food after visiting New London, but this place is good to go and the staffs are friendly as well.
We ordered the spring roll, tso chicken, some sushi, and sweet sour soup — everything was fresh and flavorful. The spring rolls were crispy, the chicken perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce not too heavy, and even the sushi was a nice surprise. The heart looks so cute. The soup was especially delicious with veggies. highly recommended
Definitely one of the best spots around if you are visiting Mystic or New London areas.

I was craving Chinese. I wasn’t close to home, so no going to my favorite place. I chose Lucky House because of location. I am glad I did. Everything was good. Lunch combo chicken-green beans-pork fried rice. Side of boneless ribs. My only complaint is it’s in a plaza, so parking is based off business around them as well.

Don’t know if it was just today but I ordered $84 worth of food and couldn’t eat any of it and they just don’t care she laughed the whole time! My beef was so mushy the sweet and sour sauce was so bad the broccoli looks like it’s been out for days and all I’m offered is a credit for “next time” will never order there again and if we get sick it will be a problem!

Would give zero stars if I could. The sushi was expensive compared to other places, and it was utterly tasteless. I like raw sushi where my husband likes cooked sushi, and on both parts it was disappointing. Yes, it arrived fast (uber eats), but it tasted of nothing. We ended up throwing out 3 of 4 rolls in the trash and ordering from another place. Hopefully that will be better.

I doordashed from here just now and only got one of my two sushi orders. I ordered two sweet potato rolls but got one of them. First time ordering from them and I’m highly dissapointed.
Update: Tried an order again and only got one of my sushi orders… Very dissapointed… At least the egg rolls are worth it.

Will never go back. Very disappointed with my order. I ordered chicken wings and Shrimp fried rice. No flavor of an authentic Chinese restaurant. Asked for a side of house mustard, no flavor at all. If I could leave zero stars, I will put a negative sign on top of that. Very displease

We got take-out to bring to our hotel. The Poo-Poo platter was delicious as well as the smoked eel sushi & the beef & broccoli combo meal. They were also very accommodating with sauces.

I asked more than once on my order to make my wings extra extra crispy. Well if what I got was the chef’s thinking these were extra extra crispy he needs to be retrained. The other item I got was also a “deep fried” item as well the eggplant, it was questionable. So I don’t know what all the hype is about. JMO

All the meat in every dish was very undercooked, practically raw. Paid $60+ for the food to be raw & give me food poisoning. I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Never ordering from here again & would others not to as well. Pretty sad that they didn’t fix this problem considering 4 months ago someone left a review saying their chicken was undercooked (didn’t see until I was looking through reviews today after my experience). 10/10 would not recommend.
