Only complaint is the seating is a little rough on the bottom (metal chairs). The staff is nice, they’ll bring out your stuff and make sure you have everything you need…. But, you came for the food, right? Delicious! Tried 5 different slices and garlic knots. All hit the spot and carried the taste of how they were named. Heated up just right… not piping hot so your face melts off… you know what I’m talking about. Plenty of seating, good drink options, plenty of parking… I’ll stop by here for a slice every time I pass through NY. Also, it just has the classic pizzeria vibe. Oh yea, and something you don’t see often anymore, really nice napkins right at each table. I also gotta add that it’s the vibe where they even trust you to sit down and have your food and then go up and pay the bill afterwards. That’s not as normal as it used to be to be.

Several months ago, I moved to the area, and it was my good fortune to have heard about Gino’s before settling in. Even better, it turned out that they are a short walk down the street from me.
I grew up in Brooklyn and lived there into early adulthood (the real Brooklyn; not the one populated with residents largely from flyover states), so I can confidently say that I know good pizza when I taste it. And Gino’s not only makes good on those expectations, but exceeds them. The specialty pies/slices are a revelation, but perhaps more importantly, they excel in the classic, unadorned Neapolitan and Sicilian, which a lot of places tend to treat as routine. Here, they are given the respect they deserve.
The rolls are to die for, with ample filling and an excellent bite to the just crusty enough dough. I haven’t tried any of the entrees yet, but I am sure I will get to them soon.
Brian makes a point of getting to know his customers, and is always warm and welcoming. The rest of the staff are also friendly and courteous, and the place is run with efficiency and care.

This Gino’s and the other one in Port Washington are brothers. We came here to get some lunch. I also wanted to see whether it was the same pizza they had at the other location. We had Myra, who served us and was excellent. We had minestrone, chicken wings, and broccoli rabe pizza. Marvelous! I loved the crusty pizza with a lot of Broccoli rabe on it. Hot cherry pepper is on it too. The soup was excellent too! Try the pizza! We bought a big square to go to as well. Yummy!

I was recommended this place and I have to say the pizza plain pie was disgusting. Aside from them not even cutting the pie through and having to cut it with a knife. The pizza was straight garbage. I would never recommend or eat from here again. There’s a reason why NYC pizza is the best in the world.

Is it possible to love a piece of pizza? It is at Gino’s. They have fantastic pizza of all varieties.
Both the Spinach and Artichoke, and the Bulldog were delicious. The spinach and artichoke pizza was creamy, crisp and bursting with flavor.
The Bulldog is savory, sweet, spicy and crispy. It’s a pizzetta with vodka sauce, pepperoni and hot honey. It’s light and crispy.
Gino’s is now my go-to pizza spot. I’m just sad it took me so long to finally try them.

The literal best Ceaser slice I’ve had in my life. Crispy pizza, flavorful sauce and chicken, lettuce that is the farthest thing from wilted you could ever imagine. The croutons too were so light and airy it was almost melt in your mouth. Perfect.

Very good pizza kitchen servicing Roslyn and nearby areas. Gino’s offer a sizable menu and so far each time I dine in for lunch, there’s never anything wrong. Polite and attentive staff and the establishment is well kept.
Decent size free parking lot.

I live directly around the goner from Gino’s and this was my second time ordering Pizza from them, the first time I ordered a pie, the pizza looked old like it was sitting all day. So I decided to give them another chance. I ordered 6 slices , 2 penna Ayla vodka, 2 white slices & 2 slices with sausage…all 4 slices didn’t look freshly made.they were dry even when I reheated them. I called to speak to the manager, he totally defended the pizzas saying that they were just made 30 mins ago. Never again will I order from this place.
