We had a fantastic experience at this Afghan restaurant! The first thing that stood out was how clean and spotless the entire place was — from the tables to the buffet area. It made the whole dining experience feel comfortable and welcoming.
The hospitality was outstanding. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel truly valued. Their kindness and attention to detail showed how much they care about their customers.
We tried their buffet, and it was absolutely amazing! The Afghan dishes were delicious and full of authentic flavor. We were also pleasantly surprised to find Indian and Pakistani options, which made the buffet even more enjoyable with so many tasty choices.
The service was excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was wonderful — friendly, helpful, and professional.

Watch out Roseville and Rocklin because Shor Bazar just raised the bar! By far the most wholesome and delicious food in the city. The buffet alone is superior to all other restaurants. With all of the options and flavors you will not be disappointed. Its not the specific dish that makes this place so great because sure you can find a better version but its the variety and quality of it all. With all of the flavors and culture it is impossible to not leave satisfied! I highly recommend that if you are unfamiliar with these types of foods that you start here! The staff are so friendly and the food is freshly made with wholesome ingredients. I eat all types of food and am always looking for a restaurant that steps up to the plate and in this case you step up with the plate! I hope this location has a prosperous and successful run because I love it and will keep coming back. Most people I know are bland and I hope to recommend them here to expand their pallet. Its the most affordable lunch you will find with the flavors that you will not find anywhere else all in one restaurant. Just go straight for the buffet and you will know what I mean. Pure satisfaction!

Had a really good experience at Shor Bazaar, very hospitable host and great menu with wide variety of dishes. Great portion sizes and price without compromising quality. Not to mention they have a daily buffet from 11 am to 3 pm during the weekday. Will definitely be back!

The Qabuli and Afghan kebab were absolutely delicious. The Qabuli was perfectly cooked with fragrant rice, tender meat, and authentic Afghan flavors. The kebabs were juicy, well-grilled, and full of rich taste. Everything was fresh and high quality, giving a truly traditional, homemade Afghan food experience. Definitely one of the best Afghan meals I’ve had, and I would happily try it again.
