Just in Phoenix for a couple days to visit a friend. Late in the morning I was hungry for a slice of pizza. This place is a jewel. Inside is some amazing thin crust pizza either made by the slice in any way you’d like or buy the pizza. I love thin crust crispy pizza in this slice was amazing. I leave tomorrow, but I’m gonna find a way to get back here for one more slice before I leave. Absolutely delicious.

I was in the area house sitting and seen this was close by. Upon arriving I immediately loved the vibe of the pizzeria, a hole in the wall if you will but so nice and welcoming! I had the 14” pepperoni pizza and garlic Parmesan wings. The pizza was okay and so were the wings. I asked if my garlic Parmesan wings were going to be saucy and the employee said yes but they were very dry. I loved the inside of the restaurant though, very cool decor and clean.

I’m from NY – the undisputed pizza capital of the world. Out here for a business trip and this was one of the closest places to eat within walking distance. I begrudgingly decided to walk here for lunch, expecting some bland, tasteless, floppy Arizona excuse for a pizza.
I couldn’t have been more wrong! The pizza was crispy and flavorful. I am shocked. The owners have to have grown up in NY, that’s the only explanation I can think of. There’s no way this pizza, in Arizona, can be THIS good!!!
Even the buffalo wings were good sized. No little tiny “Buffalo wild wings” excuse for a wing here!

Nice big slice and pretty darn tasty. Friendly staff and clean interior (the outside looks a little sketchy but way better inside). Appreciate what Mama Pizza is accomplishing and like to support small business locals.

This pizza place is the best place to go to. My family and I have been coming here for a long time now. The owner and staff are very friendly and inviting. We always feel welcome and the environment is happy and my kids love the ToyStory theme. The wings are always well done when we ask for it and the pizza is better than any other pizza I’ve had.

Mamas pizza needs to be on Apple Maps! It’s so good. Very clean environment, staff greeted me. The super slices ARE HUGE and really great quality. Fast service and great lunch specials. Right by the highway too.

I came in today because I had never been before.
I ordered a specialty slice (pepperoni, bacon and black olives, 1st topping is free and extras are $0.50), fried pickles, a plain quesabirria taco and a vanilla banana cream cake.
The food was amazing. the pizza was perfectly cooked with a twisted, garlic and herb brushed crust, it was thin with a well cooked bottom and so big they give you a pizza cutter with your slice.
The pickles were perfectly fries pickle chips, light, and crunchy with a good batter.
The quesabirria taco looked messy- but dont judge it by its looks. it was perfectly cooked, no part of it was dry, the meat was super juicy and flavorful- but not super spicy so it was easy on my sensitive stomach.
I’ll be coming back as much as I can.
P.s. They have the little chewy ice from Sonic!

The pizza was amazing!! I wanted extra crispy/well done wings. They were far from that! They also had a strong chicken smell to them This picture of the wings is after I air fryed them at home and added them back to the container. The sauce was nonexistent. Long story short, I’ll stick to the pizza when ordering here!

I hate to leave bad reviews, but… since we were in town on vacation and this restaurant got good reviews I figured we would try it out, hoping to find a good local pizzeria. We were very disappointed. We got 2 pizzas. The crust on the first was very tough and chewy, but we ate it. I ate one piece from the second pizza and the crust was even worse. It hurt my teeth to try to rip it apart. That being said, the flavor was decent, but both pizzas were very greasy. We ended up not even eating the second pizza minus the one piece I tried. It was a bit of a waste of money. To top it off, we all ended up with a stomach ache after eating. Hopefully this was a fluke for this place. We really wanted to try an awesome pizza from here but we’re greatly disappointed.
