Holy portion size Batman! The food was hot, fast and delicious! Compliments to the chef! The young woman in the front was so sweet! We will definitely be back next time we visit the Cape!

My husband and I were in town briefly and stopped by the Basco Grill. The food was delicious and definitely went above our expectations! I got the Shrimp Po’Boy with potato salad and my husband got the Basco Burger. The food came out so quickly and it was fresh! Definitely made our list for favorite spots on the Cape.

We visited on a Sunday for dinner in mid-June 2025.

There was plenty of parking in a lot outside. There were 2 other groups when we arrived. There were many groups who came in and had take out orders. We didn’t have the time to place a takeout order before we arrived. It did feel like our food took quite a bit of time to make. I did enjoy their large selection of sodas. They had some really weird ones which was cool. The staff was also very nice and helpful with us making our selection and answering our questions.

We ordered:
– Brussel sprouts wrapped in bacon: Really good.
– Ensalada Salad with chicken: Needed more dressing only gave – one little container.
– Bosco Salad: Needed more dressing only gave one little container.
– Appetizer chicken tenders: needed more ranch, only gave 1 small container for 7 strips
– Bigger better burger: was big and good.
– 2 bowls of clam chowder: very good
– Chicken sandwich: I think used chicken breast and was very dry.

Overall for the price we paid (~$150) it probably was not worth it for us. I think there were better options for the price we paid. The value just wasn’t there. But we were glad we tried it. It was close to where we were staying in Eastham.

I can’t believe this place has been here for over 5 years and I’m just now trying it. Holy portions. We ordered the Chicken BLT and Rooster. The bacon jam was to die for. You must check this place out when your in the area. Best Fried Chicken.

Small, clean, reasonably priced, well-lit place. Staff was friendly and helpful navigating extensive menu. Veggie burger was fresh-made, not a frozen pattie, and it was delicious. Frenchie Burger was cooked as requested, and Boursin cheese (a first for me) was deliciously “herbie,” just like they said it would be. Burger also featured crispy (not hard) bacon, and it all still tasted like a fresh, healthy meal. Fries were cooked just right; a bit of crunch on the outside, and flaky inside. Best of all, there wasn’t a bit of greasy taste/feel to be found in any of it!

Fantastic! We are making a point of going to one place we have never been every Saturday. This Saturday we went to Basco. The food was excellent. I added the lentil coconut soup bit my meal. Really really good! This is a must for lunch on the outer Cape!

Really good fried food. Generous portion size. Atmosphere is lacking for dinner, but fine for lunch. Lots of people were ordering for takeout. Overall we enjoyed the food, but probably best for takeout.

We ordered bbq beef and cowboy sandwiches and both were so flavorful! We got free cape cod chips as well. I would say it’s a must grab-and-go if you are also going to see the lighthouse.

Good place for lunch or dinner. There was only one employee out of the kitchen, but still got our orders in quickly and brought them herself. I ordered the shrimp Po’Boy and my dad ordered the rooster chicken sandwich. I absolutely loved the shrimp but they put way too much spice on the chicken sandwich and ruined it.

Went here because nothing was really open down the cape. We walked into the restaurant and were not greeted by the lady at the front desk. We asked of we could sit anywhere. The lady, short brown hair classes older, told us in a condensing voice you order here. We ordered Fish and chips and the smashed avocado salad. Service time was pretty quick. We watched while we waited for food. The cashier, lady who took our order was rude to another gentleman who came in asking for a job for her daughter. She answered NO!! The guy tried to justify his question saying that his daughter was 14 years old and maybe that was too young to work. The cashier explained it was the winter and they barely had any customers. I read that other people had issues with other races. My wife is Hispanic, every other person was of caucasian race cashier was reasonably nice but never smiled or looked thrilled to be there. Just before we finished our food a younger worker took over the cashier position. My wife went to use the bathroom and I asked the new cashier is that lady the owner. She responded no just someone that’s worked here for a while. I responded well she need to leave.
