Streetlight is one of my favorite brunch places in the city, but their hours are so expansive that you can get a great experience at any time of day here. The employees are very friendly and offer great service.

chicken & waffles – crispy chicken balacned with a fresh waffle. the jalapeño butter balances everything out without the need for much syrup

I’ve been here a few times now. We did try to come for brunch once and really couldn’t get service and actually left because we seem to have been forgotten about. Maybe they were understaffed? Luckily, we gave them another shot because the food and cocktails have been excellent. Their smashburger is the best I’ve had in Buffalo. Cool decor and vibes too!

I have been here a hand full of times now, and this was my best experience and the one I’ll discuss. Not super busy, football games on, great cocktail menu, the bartender(s) we had were exceptional, both were super welcoming, accommodating, and not overbearing. I had a pumpkin drink special which was delicious! My boyfriend had an old fashioned which was perfection. The vibes are excellent, decor on point, I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have more foot traffic but it should. If the bartender who served us isn’t a manager he should be. He acts like someone who understands customer service.

This is a really great place to stop by. The decor is really contemporary and it’s a beautiful atmosphere. Parts of the restaurant are for sitting down and then you can also sit at the bar. When we came, it was somewhat full but there was absolutely no wait time!
When it comes to cocktails, this is beyond your typical! I was so surprised by my cocktail — the burnt orange garnish took this to the next level. The syrups and juices are house made and you can tell the difference. It tastes extremely fresh!
The classic shrimp cocktail featured huge shrimp—amazing! I would say maybe these were jumbo size and it was served on ice. I think the burger was the streetlight but I’m not sure .
I’d love to come back for the salads, and the brunch menu! Even the grilled cheese with tomato soup sounds like amazing twist on a classic! I highly recommend this place, whether it’s for a quick late night bite with a couple cocktails or a casual brunch with friends.

Had a lovely brunch here today. Not sure if they take reservations as I didn’t see the option online, but we showed up at about quarter to 2 and had a table within 5-10 minutes. Our server, Jamie, was very friendly and the food came out quickly.
We got some cold brew to drink, I really appreciate that they give you simple syrup on the side rather than just sugar like some places do. A good sized glass for the $3. Then a dozen oysters to start, which were AMAZING. Super fresh and briny, usually not one for mignonette but it complimented the oysters very well. For our mains we got the French toast and an omelet with bacon added, both dishes were phenomenal. Great flavor and well-seasoned, though if you’re sensitive to sodium I might ask for light seasoning on the homefries. Our server recommended the cinnamon roll and it looked SO GOOD, I will have to give it a try next time.
Overall a super cute place to have a chill Sunday brunch. Will be back for sure!

Most places downtown buffalo are closed. My son and I went and gave this place a try. The menu was small and overpriced. We just wanted a quick bite to share so we had a little something in our stomachs. It was 18$ for chicken and WAFFLES .We only got one chicken and one waffle. Joe her cute self just doing her job. No shame to her. She asked more towards my son if we wanted home fries. My son clearly just heard fries. So whatever. But idk I paid about 23$ for one chicken one waffle and home fries. 5$ . Tip. And the seating wasn’t very comfortable at all.

Firstly, the atmosphere was ridiculously good. The food is pricy and took quite awhile to come out but ended up being delicious. The house fries were so crispy and fresh. The chicken and waffle was so tasty – the chicken was cooked beautifully. Crispy and juicy. It’s an additional $4 to add maple syrup but if you’re splurging, you definitely would want some on the chicken and waffle. At night, they can get quite packed and loud (especially Friday nights) but their cocktails and beers aren’t bad. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back here soon.

This place is so beautiful and the vibes here are great. The food is delicious. A wonderful brunch spot for groups and couples! Husband and I got the chicken & waffles and the smashburger. Both were hands down the best we’ve ever had.
The chicken & waffles were SO tasty, fluffy, flavourful, and paired so nicely with the jalapeño butter. The smashburger was full of protein (beef patties, eggs, ham) and so tasty as well. We were very impressed with our experience. 10/10 music playlist too.

Food: we had the smash burger and the chicken and waffles. It was amazing best we’ve had! I mean we ate it all and that’s a first!!
Dessert: that sugar cookie crumble crust cheesecake was AMAZING! That caramelized sugar on top wow!
Drinks: we had the old fashioned and the Sesame Street. They were great!
Service: top notch!
Atmosphere: as soon as you walk through those doors you are mesmerized by the place, it’s so clean, welcoming, modern, we really loved it! We loved the plants !
