Extremely overpriced for sub-par quality food.
$14.50 for a slice of quiche with a tiny bowl of salad seems a little much, don’t you think?
The crust was not even baked properly. This is something I’d pay $8 for at Starbucks, and not complain about.
Ps I don’t think I’m cool at all. And it seems like you aren’t very cool either lol. In fact, I love giving 5 star reviews to cafes and restaurants here since they’re much needed. I would’ve returned it, but my husband said it’d be too embarrassing for y’all. Btw Sbux doesn’t sell quiche. But everyone knows what their food is like.

Spoonfed was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, they were so easy to work with—helping us create a menu, hosting us for a fun tasting at their local cafe, and then executing everything on the wedding day perfectly. The food selection was creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. Most importantly, the food was outstanding! We had so many guests come up to us afterward specifically to rave about how great the food was. Professional, accommodating, and truly top-notch—I would highly recommend them to anyone planning an event.

We used Spoonfed for our wedding catering and they manned our bar at Maven Monroe. They were absolutely wonderful. The team was extremely professional- the bartender, in particular, was a big hit with our guests just for being so sweet and fun!
Finding catering for a smaller wedding (40 guests) was a headache- the minimums we were expected to meet or requirements we had to follow were outrageous if we could get any response at all. Spoonfed, however, answered me back quickly and listened to our needs and worked with us to get there. Susan was honest with expectations and never tried to up-sell.
After an excellent tasting at their location in Lumina Commons, we built a wonderful southern coastal menu within a reasonable budget for 40 people. The shrimp and grits and biscuits were insanely good. They worked with us as vegetarians to make recipe accommodations and they also went above and beyond to help us get the most bang for our buck with our bar. They offered several options, including just the bartender and garnish which is what we chose (so we supplied all of the alcohol ourselves).
Susan remained consistent throughout the whole process, answering emails promptly and providing information in detail for me to plan appropriately.
The food was superb on the day and the display was way above my expectations. It looked beautiful and our buffet dinner went over without a hitch with everyone raving about the food.
Susan and her team at Spoonfed were always very warm and kind to me and my wife which was particularly important as an LGBT couple. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We recently catered through them for our wedding and when I say their food was AMAZING! I was unable to be present for the tasting and left it in the hands of my fiancé to pick our caterer and I was so impressed with everything. Their steak amazing, potatoes amazing, appetizers amazing, kale salad AMAZING! The staff present at our wedding was so kind and efficient. Everyone keeps talking about how great the food was! Highly highly recommended!

Came down to Wilmington for spring break and the highlight of my week was all the times we ate at Spoonfed! They pride themselves on fresh food and I can support. Some of my favorites were the burger, the Parmesan chips, and their homemade chia pudding and granola. The service was great and the staff was very kind and efficient.

We cannot recommend Spoonfed highly enough! From the very beginning, they made our wedding catering experience a dream. They also worked with us to create a private event that was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible – our guests are still raving about it! They were incredibly accommodating during our tasting and planning process. Susan, in particular, was a lifesaver. She was responsive and incredibly helpful, even finding ways to save us money without sacrificing quality. We are so grateful for the amazing service and delicious food. Best restaurant in Wilmington. The chicken Bahn Mi is incredible. Veggie sandwich is so fresh and tasty. The broccoli slaw will make you want to eat healthy. And the chips! The chips are addicting and sprinkled with cheese. 10/10. My absolute GO-TO spot

My husband and I had a breakfast this morning here. Big space and high ceiling give the restaurant a great ambiance. I like their board menu on the wall ( Big printed letters, not full of items). Their staff were very welcoming.
I ordered” the great breakfast day”, the eggs were cooked the way I wanted. Grilled biscuits were very delicious. I will definitely come back to try their lunch.

We chose Spoonfed to be our caterer for our wedding and we can’t say enough good things about Kim & her team. We dine at Spoonfed all the time and their breakfast and lunch is by far the best in town. When we found out they do weddings, we knew we had to have them as our caterer. From the initial tasting, to customizing our menu, to answering the MANY emails, to the phenomenal service on our wedding day – Kim made the whole experience so special and beyond exceeded our expectations. Our menu and food was top priority for us at our wedding and Spoonfed knocked it out of the park. Also, they have the best Shrimp & Grits EVER! I don’t typically like shrimp & grits, but we had them at our tasting and decided we wanted to do a whole shrimp & grits station at our wedding! We worked with Spoonfed for our post-wedding “Breakfast at the Beach” at Wrightsville Beach, and they were nothing short of incredible. We had no idea where to start with the menu, and they guided us through every detail to create something perfect for our guests. When we showed up that morning, everything was already beautifully set up on the tables, and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Everyone kept telling us how amazing the food was; we had more than enough food for 50-60 guests. Spoonfed made the whole experience so easy and special! Highly recommend!
