I stopped by The Golden Star for breakfast, which is clearly their specialty — though the menu also makes it a great choice for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by how many options they offer and the variety within each category. The ability to customize your dish really gives it that “home-cooked” feel and makes it easy to get exactly what you’re craving.
The menu has something for everyone, no matter what you’re in the mood for, which makes The Golden Star a perfect spot any day of the week. My food came out quickly, the service was excellent, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying.
The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, so it’s best for solo diners, pairs, or small groups rather than big gatherings — but that cozy, personal feel just adds to its charm. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

We visited this hidden gem this morning with our grandkids. It is was amazing. Grandkids had cheeseburgers they were huge and delicious. My wife and I had breakfast. Everything was amazing service and food was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was great and friendly. We will definitely be back.

We found this restaurant this morning. We aren’t familiar with this area and we are super happy that we found it. All the food was absolutely delicious and filling. I got french toast and eggs and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly. My daughter got A cheeseburger and fries and cottage cheese.
After we dined in we ordered our dinner to go. We got chicken alfredo and turkey manhattan. It’s hard to choose what to eat here because everything looks so good. And our server was super friendly and efficient and kept my coffee cup full. Thanks for the great experience!
Update: Went again with my older daughter and everything was perfectly cooked. Quick service and delicious!

Had the best chopped steak ever .. Service was very good .. Will go again… Back again was absolutely delicious… My cousin and I both were very happy!!! Highly recommended… New booths new tables and chairs…new dinnerware.. Awesome job Just had the ribeye steak and fries and salad was absolutely delicious.. my cousin had the same but with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans.. plus he had onions and mushrooms on top of his steak .. Highly recommended.. Thanks so much!!

Good service, good food. I didn’t care for the 2 dollar share a plate I had to pay because my 2 young under 5 kids won’t eat a complete meal so I have them share a meal. Place was very busy at 530pm but the servers did a good job keeping up. Don’t sit next to the air conditioner it is very loud. Still mad about the 2 dollars share plate for my kids they charged me. I ordered 2 pancakes 1 pancack was as big as a 9 inch plate. Ugh… I ordered 3 eggs and hashbrowns they were good.
