There were four of us. We started with some bloody Mary’s and a coffee martini. Both were delicious however, I would like to recommend that they trim their celery sticks, trim the brown part off the bottom of each side would certainly look more appetizing!We had a variety of dishes. First off appetizer shrimp cocktail which was wonderful love that sauce and the crabcakes.! Beautifully plated and delicious. For the entrées, we had shrimp and grits, delicious beautifully, plated, lamb chops. Absolutely the best, scallops were OK. There was no sear on the scallop and only 4 on the plate was a little discouraging, Served with a medley of squash and carrots. The carrots were raw. The squash was delicious. They use the same plate as they used for our appetizers which confused me since this was an entrée however, it looked more like an appetizer! The seafood pasta salad was the most disappointing, the pasta came out dry. There was a very watery Milky liquid In the bottom of the bowl, however it did not stick to the pasta. We will definitely be back understand it was only their first week.

We went for dinner to celebrate a family birthday and it was great! We had cocktails, appetizers, dinner and dessert. Everything was great especially the crab claws and redfish special. Our server Alex was wonderful.

Great menus, very good pricing. We went early didn’t have a reservation but next time I will, sit away from the bar if noises are an issue for you. But go you will enjoy !

We had a wonderful lunch and everything was excellent: food, service, atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. We tried the calamari, oyster platter, crab bisque, gumbo, and fried shrimp and it was all five stars! The fried food was lightly fried with not too much batter nor greasy. The homemade sauces were excellent. The salad was extremely fresh and the croutons melted in your mouth. The crab bisque was creamy and delicious with a hint of spice. Gumbo can’t be beat either. We will return to try more dishes. I like how the restaurant is classy and uses cloth tablecloths and the waiters/waitresses all wear ties. Top notch! A gem for Long Beach!
