We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. And oh boy! It did not disappoint. The platter was amazing. Everything on it, was delicious, the pulled pork, chicken wings, the beef brisket were all excellent. But… the ribs are the show stopper. If you try nothing else try the ribs. My only regret is not ordering more to take home lol. Food, Service and Atmosphere was great. We went early on so it wasn’t busy. But you can tell this place gets banging when it’s full. There’s a stage for a band and some axe throwing stations among other things. This is a definite “must try” for locals, expats and tourists… Especially if you love Meat!

Great people and service. The best item I loved was the pulled pork, it had a great smoky, barbecue flavor and tender.

The brisket had too much fat on it, and the white bread slices need to be upgraded to a better side dish. Possibly cornbread or buttery garlic bread roll. The chicken wings had a flavor that I really could not recognize and it didn’t pair well with the other food items.

The brisket tacos were amazing as well. First time trying that.

Overall, four out of five and I would try it again in the future.

Went here with high hopes seeing all the positive reviews but was unfortunately disappointed, not sure if it was an off day or what.

Positives:
Service was friendly and fast
Ribs had good flavor

Negatives:

The Brisket was super tough despite all the fat, no smoke ring, no bark and did not come with any bbq sauce (had to purchase extra)

Sides were not fantastic and meal doesn’t come with bread or pickles or sauce

Prices are crazy high and everything is extra. Even in the US at somewhere with a long history like Salt lick a plate is like $15 and comes with all the garnishings.

I understand the meat is more pricey in Mexico but nearly $40 for one plate and two ribs is pretty crazy especially when the quality is not there.

The DRAK Taster plate is awesome ! Taste so good Take all the side with and you’ll be set we took the mini with all the sides and we were 2 adults 2 Childs (6-8) and it was perfect for us. Enjoy !

Hands down the best barbecue I’ve had in Mexico. The ribs were my favorite but I also totally enjoyed the brisket and wings and pulled pork. Of course we got the Drak and had leftovers that will be eaten later tonight. The owner is so friendly, everyone should stop there and get some amazing bbq. Try the spicy bbq and all the sauces really.

Really enjoyed our trip here. The meats, brisket and ribs were flavorful and plentiful. Sides of cole slaw, Mac & cheese and grilled corn were on point! Took a half kilo pulled pork for lunch tomorrow! Glad that we found about this place! We’ll be back!

We ate here tonight for the first time and I guarantee we will be back very soon. This BBQ was incredible. We got the platter with all the different meat and it was more than enough for 4. All of it was good but for me, the brisket and the pulled pork was incredible. Marco and his staff were great

If you have the time to try this spot! You have to. It’s 100% worth the journey across the freeway.

Friendly staff, but most of all, banging BBQ!

I had the full load of pulled pork sandwich and the wife had the ribs.

Sides and main were mouth watering.

We went on a Monday, but can only imagine the ambiance on a Friday night.

Get over there and give it a go

Great, smoky food, flavorful and tender, moist meat. Shout out for the Mac and cheese. Our waiter Giancarlo and the smoke master himself chatted with us. We were too full to try the smoked crème brûlée, but would love to!
