Best Asian food in the area. Food is delicious. We order a Raman, seaweed salad and rainbow maki , however, it’s too delicious so we order another grilled eels.
Tastes very nice as well. Only thing I don’t recommend is the ice green tea. Very watery.
Overall it’s a great experience.

We think this restaurant is a hidden gem in the west midlands (Stratford-upon-Avon specifically), really nice vibe & kind staff.

All around the food was tasty, but do note that price-wise it was comparable to London-prices.

The chirashi and udon were delicious. My partner loved his moriwase, although the uni wasn’t as fresh as expected, it was understandable since we’re in the West Midlands.

This restaurant was honestly the best part of my internship in Stratford-upon-Avon. I discovered this place while moving in and would eat its food, whether dine-in or takeaway, at least once a week without fail. I have tried a range of their mains and basically all of them have been good. The service is wonderful as well and I am incredibly grateful to the warmth they gave me throughout my internship. I note that this place seems to be a beloved local institution as well. Whether you’re passing through or living in the area, be sure to give this restaurant business in my place.

We came here unplanned. We didn’t have a booking but they gladly accommodated us (4 persons) but explained the time we need to finish which was understandable. The service was quick, the food was delicious but not too generous with the soup noodles we ordered. We wanted to order the bento box but it was expensive, which was a shame because I love bento boxes. I would still come back to taste the other items on the menu.

We tried this Japanese restaurant for a birthday and I’m glad we chose here. From outside it looks unassuming but it’s an authentic Japanese restaurant: small number of tables, anime soundtracks, cosy environment and wonderful service. Sushi, gyoza, tempura was sooo good! We were full already but didnt want to leave without trying ramen and donburi, totally worth it. Also tried plum wine, goes very well with various tastes. Heavily recommended, will come here again.

This was round the corner from my b and (no) b and I fancied simple, tasty and fresh. It was exactly what I wanted. I had seaweed salad, edamame and teriyaki chicken rice bowl with miso soup and Genmaicha. Friendly and good service. Simple clean surroundings. Good value.

Visiting Stratford upon Avon for the day and found this lovely Japanese restaurant close to the city centre. It serves a range of sushi and sashimi rolls as well as hot dishes like ramen, udon and donburi.

Ordered rainbow maki rolls and ebi tempura maki to start with – both are really tasty with the rainbow rolls topped with various sashimi and the ebi tempura rolls filled with large prawns. The kitsune udon I ordered is really great too with chewy udon and tofu – perfect on a rainy day! The genmai cha was served in a large teapot with unlimited refill which is another bonus point too.

Definitely recommended to stop by for a meal for some welcoming service and great tasty Japanese food!

Absolutely lovely Japanese restraint. Amazing fresh fish, and the wagu beef melts in your mouth. Amazing customer service as well.

The food quality is phenomenal and it is very delicious. Will come here more often. It is definitely on the pricier side, but if you love the Japanese cuisine, it is totally worth it in my opinion.

This place is a gem! I noticed it walking into town from our hotel multiple times. Finally glanced at the menu while next door using the coin laundry. Decided we needed to try it for dinner after looking at the glowing reviews online. This place did not disappoint. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Their California roll (I know, not the fanciest thing) is easily the best I’ve ever had. The tobico and spouts over the top elevate it so much. The soft shell crab was amazing. Everything was excellent. This place is a must. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
