I’m on a work trip and it’s the end of the day so I decided to take a chance on this pizza because the reviews were pretty solid. Even though I do try to choose by reviews, they’re not always right. However, in this particular situation they were spot on! It’s a really good flavorful yummy pizza. Customer service was excellent. It’s a small place so I didn’t score the atmosphere really high but it’s not because there’s anything wrong. It’s just a small interior. If you are thinking about it -just do it -order from here.

This is a hidden gem of a pizza spot! They are a family owned pizzeria with tried and true as well as unique and interesting menu items. The owner and staff are super friendly and kind. We ordered the Bianca and the don supreme. They also have a little foosball table to keep our toddler entertained while we ate. We highly recommend!

I ordered a salad and the chicken Philly and it was horrible, I’ve been here before but idk what happened today. The lettuce was old and wilted so of course I couldn’t eat that . Also the lettuce on my sub was the same I tried to eat it but the lettuce looked so nasty and the chicken tasted old and yucky just $28 gone down the drain

We visited Don Gala for the first time this evening. My husband, 3 yr old son and myself walked there, it’s right up the road from our house. We are extremely pleased. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The tables were clean, the music was good and the people working there were very hospitable. They paid attention to us in such a way that made us feel very welcome and we will absolutely be back!

Delightful!! Perfect place for giant cheat-day pizza. The sweet Mexican music, the beautiful mural, and the cute little ducks lining the register, all of it is awesome! It even had a pool table

I was so hungry I just needed to order. Jumped on Uber Eats. This popped up as the second place. Placed a quick order, not expecting it to travel well. I was really let down by the last pizza I got from a good rated place. So I didn’t know what to expect
I got way more than thinking I would be let down again. This may be the best pizza I’ve had in NC since 2010 when I first moved here. Then you couldn’t find any pizza places down here worth any time. Then one opened on Pisgah church. They fell off.
Anyway. One of my two other spots. On downtown and one by the college where still up there for me until the one Downtown started going down also. So that left the one by the school.
Now, this is the new one to go to by the school. Just a little down a certain rd and make a right and your here instead of there.
My God, guys this is top quality food. I mean run with NY/NJ pizza any day of the week. My family wouldn’t know the difference in a blind taste test
When I bit into the first bite my childhood came back. You guys nailed it! Your sauce is absolutely top notch. Your cook on the pizza absolutely perfect. And you asked on the app which blew me away. When I tell places well done. They don’t listen. We don’t even have to say anything up north unless you really want it burnt up, which people do ironically. My Grandma God rest her soul. And she put Anchovies, gross
And these Garlic Knots are something else. They are crunchy but soft at the same time and had the taste. They are more the size of Cinnabons. Great work.
I’m saying all this to say, thank you. My order was amazing. You blew this NYer away.

If I was Barstooling this place I would say 8.3.
For NC, 9.4. This place is a force to be recon with. Can’t wait to actually come in and taste it out of the oven. If it was this good after a 25 min drive. I can just imagine when it’s fresh out the oven.
