Love the coffee, but the food is extremely disappointing and overpriced. My breakfast burrito had a huge chunk of egg shell in it.

Ordered breakfast takeout for the first time: a chai tea latte and avocado smash toast. The toast looked like something I could make at home .. definitely not worth $15!!! I asked for a HOT chai tea latte and it came iced. Both weren’t anything special and I won’t order from here again.

I was in the area for a business meeting and didn’t have time for breakfast at home. Searched in google for good breakfast spots and this place came up. I’m happy it did! Went here 2 mornings back to back. The coffee/ice coffee was so delicious and fresh! The breakfast was scrumptious and very good amount. Customer service was great and I was able to prep for meetings within the place with their free wifi available. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone!

New York Beanery in Amityville has some super unique and tasty options!
They just launched their Summer 2024 menu items! I really loved:
+ the tiramasu iced latte
+ rose matcha
+ mango matcha
+ crossiants and pasteries
+ the avocado toast with tomatoe jam
+ savory breakfast burritos
Donna and her team are so kind and funny. I love the little coffee shop and trendy snacks. There’s plenty of parking at the public lot 100ft away from the coffee shop!

One of my favorite coffee shops around! Truly amazing seasonal drinks. Many of the syrups are made in house. The espresso is strong enough to stand up to the other flavors. Matcha lattes are also good, but are occasionally ever so slightly milky. However the quality of the matcha is still high enough that it doesn’t dissuade me.

n my visit to Amityville, I decided to grab brunch at New York Beanery. I went for their avocado fusion toast with a sunny-side-up egg and their seasonal caramel apple latte. Unfortunately, I had to wait for a whopping 20 minutes, even though the place wasn’t full, before my food and drink arrived.
To make matters worse, they forgot my whipped cream, so I had to ask for that separately. The coffee was a letdown, especially towards the end because they didn’t mix it properly, making the syrup way too strong and sweet. The avocado toast tasted great, but it was nearly impossible to eat with plastic utensils. Overall, it wasn’t the enjoyable experience I was hoping for.

The food is literally not edible. Bread COVERED in mayo with 2 pieces of microwaved chicken and undercooked bacon. Be ready to pay to be starving after! Threw it away. The burrito was pretty much empty as well.

There are a few things that weren’t perfect. For instance, mango bubble tea tasted nothing like mango (just lots of sugar) and the place needs blinds on windows (it was hot sitting at the table). Despite that, we liked the place a lot and will be back 🙂

Really cute place to hang out. They had very fun specialty drinks and a pretty big menu, I wanted to try them all! The breakfast burrito was also very good. Looking forward to going back to trying more drinks and desserts, wish it was closer to home.
Also there is a little parking lot, wasn’t hard to find parking.
