The place is cozy and welcoming, with parking right in front. The gentleman at the counter, who seemed to be the owner, was friendly.
I tried the shrimp and fish tacos based on recommendations. The tacos looked nice, the lime was fresh, and the hot sauce was good. The shrimp had flavor, though some pieces were a bit dry—frying them fresh would improve them. I didn’t notice any herbs like cilantro, or there was so little that I couldn’t taste it. The fish taco and steak torta were okay. The horchata was good, and the place felt clean overall.
Overall, I wanted to love it, but it was just an okay experience.

If you want a beef burrito skip Chipotle and come here! They’re horchata is one of the best. I usually do take out, they do have seating, but it is limited. Great overall service and will be back!

I go to the gym so I can eat whatever I want. Today, I had a major craving for Mexican food. I discovered this place and I ordered takeout. I had a fish taco plate with guac, rice, and beans. As well as a Cuban torta with an additional side of rice and beans. And what did you have dessert you might ask? A flan. Was it a lot of food? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I sometimes like to say: ” We eat, and we don’t judge.” Everything was absolutely delicious and I have no complaints. The service was very mindful, very cutesy, very demure. I ended up with a food baby, and it was totally worth it. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you. 5/5

The plating of the food, as you can see in the picture is just beautiful. But honestly the taste was just kind of average. The meat filling was tough overcooked chicken breast. The beans and rice were unremarkable. I wish it was as delicious as it looked! It was almost $17 for a basic enchilada plate and soft drink. Kind of pricy for lunch. Pretty small menu selection.

I rarely ever leave bad reviews like this and am pretty easy going when it comes to supporting busineses but for starters the lady looked at me like I needed to hurry and order with no customers waiting behind me. The food was bland and who charges $4 for a stupid bland taco in this day and age. People barely have money to buy groceries let alone pay a premium for bland sub par food. Just charge $1.50 for a really good taco and have a line around the corner. I paid $40 for 6 tacos and the ground beef tacos are full of potatoes for $3+ dollars each and the steak tacos $4+ each and enough canned refried beans to feed 2 people and enough rice for 2 people. I will never give this price gouging place my patronage again. ✌️

I’ve been coming here for lunches on occasion since they opened 7-8 years ago. Everything I’ve had here over the years has been excellent and everything is fresh. I especially enjoy the tacos camarones which is my go-to…that and their delicious made to order guacamole. Today instead of my usual, I went deeper into the menu and noticed they had enchiladas en mole. Making mole is a labor of love and can be really hit or miss but I hadn’t had ANY mole dishes in years, so I pulled the trigger on that. Absolutely blew my mind!! Perfect blend of heat and spices with that subtle sweet chocolate profile up front and tapering off as the heat and spice caught up. Best mole I ever had without question!
For a little place (with its totally appropriate name,) to survive in a non-descript, strip-mall storefront, in a smallish community like this is an anomaly. The obvious reason is they consistently turn out exceptional table fare, creating a loyal repeat customer base.

Tonight was the first time we ordered delivery from here. Not only was the price fair, the order arrived quickly and the food was excellent! We ordered a steak and chicken burrito. We like to eat Mexican food a lot, however this time I’m completely satisfied with my order. The food was fresh-even the cheese stretched like grabbing a slice of pizza from a pie. Great Job, we’ll be back!

What a disappointment. $35.00 for two flavorless burritos and cokes. The food came out in four minutes so clearly not made for us.
