We started with the tableside guacamole, and wow. They prepare it fresh right in front of you in a giant cast-iron bowl, mixing in a variety of fresh ingredients for a full 10 minutes. The presentation alone is beautiful, but the flavor is even better — bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The house-made chips were next-level: warm, crispy, and seasoned with what tasted like a smoky paprika or chimichurri-style blend. I’ve honestly never had chips like that before. Absolutely addictive.
To drink, I had the strawberry basil margarita (top shelf) — smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. Later I ordered a dragon fruit coconut mojito, which was tropical, vibrant, and just as impressive.
The kids’ meals were an incredible value at only $10 — full plates and very generous portions. Every one of them loved their meals. My son ordered the Hot Honey Tacos and couldn’t stop talking about how good they were.
For my entrée, I had the El Carbón — two large, juicy white chicken breasts topped with generous chimichurri, served with beautiful yellow rice and fresh black beans finished with chimichurri and cheese. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. It was truly outstanding.
And dessert sealed the deal. I always order churros at Mexican restaurants, but these were unlike any I’ve ever had. Light, airy, fluffy, and perfectly crisp — served over a cloud of fresh whipped cream with a subtle hint of mint. It was the perfect ending to a perfect night.
Jake, our waiter, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made the entire experience even better with his great service and positive energy.
Everything about this place exceeded expectations. The food, the presentation, the drinks, the service — all five-star. We’ll absolutely be back (probably weekly). So happy we found this gem. Great job, Rocco’s Tacos — and thank you, Jake!
For the mains, the quesabirria tacos were good, and while the shrimp adobo tacos were just okay, the authentic tortilla style was excellent (though mine arrived a bit cold). The rice and beans were delicious, and the kids’ meals were tasty and well-portioned. We finished with churros—the chocolate sauce was authentically Mexican, though the churros themselves were a bit soggy and lacked that signature crunch.
The bar was packed, but it’s a family-friendly atmosphere. We were glad we went early and made a reservation, as this place is clearly becoming popular. We’ll definitely be back!
We started with the guacamole and ceviche, both of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. Ally suggested the black cherry margarita, and it’s now one of my favorites. I ordered the smash burger tacos and wow, they were so flavorful and absolutely delicious. My husband had the skirt steak platter with rice and beans and didn’t leave a single bite. The kids also enjoyed their meals, especially the kids burrito and chicken fingers.
I grew up going to Rocco’s Tacos in Boca, so having one open in Huntington truly brings a little piece of home closer to me. We’re so happy this location opened on Long Island and can’t wait to come back!
For food, we ordered the steak quesadilla and the hot honey chicken tacos, and both were absolutely delicious. We also tried the esquites and the table-side guacamole, which was made right in front of us to our liking. It tasted fresh, flavorful, and so yummy.
The restaurant itself is really nice & perfect for a chill night out but also a great spot for a more celebratory dinner like a birthday or special occasion. The vibes were on point with great music and a fun atmosphere. On top of that, Rocco, the owner, is really cool and very approachable, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!
The food was delicious, we ordered Flautas as an app. Then ordered Hot Honey Chicken tacos and the Quesa Biria Tacos.
The drinks were great. We ordered Margaritas. Our server John was on point. He was able to answer all of our questions.
Overall a great experience.
