We tried Rocco’s Tacos for the first time and were blown away from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and we were seated immediately — always a great first impression.
We started with the tableside guacamole, and wow. They prepare it fresh right in front of you in a giant cast-iron bowl, mixing in a variety of fresh ingredients for a full 10 minutes. The presentation alone is beautiful, but the flavor is even better — bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The house-made chips were next-level: warm, crispy, and seasoned with what tasted like a smoky paprika or chimichurri-style blend. I’ve honestly never had chips like that before. Absolutely addictive.
To drink, I had the strawberry basil margarita (top shelf) — smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. Later I ordered a dragon fruit coconut mojito, which was tropical, vibrant, and just as impressive.
The kids’ meals were an incredible value at only $10 — full plates and very generous portions. Every one of them loved their meals. My son ordered the Hot Honey Tacos and couldn’t stop talking about how good they were.
For my entrée, I had the El Carbón — two large, juicy white chicken breasts topped with generous chimichurri, served with beautiful yellow rice and fresh black beans finished with chimichurri and cheese. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. It was truly outstanding.
And dessert sealed the deal. I always order churros at Mexican restaurants, but these were unlike any I’ve ever had. Light, airy, fluffy, and perfectly crisp — served over a cloud of fresh whipped cream with a subtle hint of mint. It was the perfect ending to a perfect night.
Jake, our waiter, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made the entire experience even better with his great service and positive energy.
Everything about this place exceeded expectations. The food, the presentation, the drinks, the service — all five-star. We’ll absolutely be back (probably weekly). So happy we found this gem. Great job, Rocco’s Tacos — and thank you, Jake!

We are finally glad to have found a great Mexican spot in Huntington! We started with the tableside guacamole, which was a definite highlight. For drinks, we ordered a bottle of La Crema Pinot Noir; since we’re particular about serving temperatures for light reds, we appreciated the staff finding us an ice bucket. The tequila selection also looked impressive.
For the mains, the quesabirria tacos were good, and while the shrimp adobo tacos were just okay, the authentic tortilla style was excellent (though mine arrived a bit cold). The rice and beans were delicious, and the kids’ meals were tasty and well-portioned. We finished with churros—the chocolate sauce was authentically Mexican, though the churros themselves were a bit soggy and lacked that signature crunch.
The bar was packed, but it’s a family-friendly atmosphere. We were glad we went early and made a reservation, as this place is clearly becoming popular. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is so trendy and fun! Music is good, artwork is fun and interesting without being overwhelming and the food and drinks are all delicious! My friend had the jalepeno margarita which you could tell is made fresh and I had the lychee drink which was balanced and not too sweet. Food wise, chips and salsa are fire with a nice dusting of spices on the chips. Tacos are delicious, sides are delicious, and the service was provided by Ricardo, who was attentive, friendly and professional. Caden the manager checked in on us throughout the night to see that everything was up to par. Exceeded our expectations and highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing experience at Rocco’s Tacos in Huntington! Our waitress, Ally was fantastic, fun and super attentive and full of great recommendations.

We started with the guacamole and ceviche, both of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. Ally suggested the black cherry margarita, and it’s now one of my favorites. I ordered the smash burger tacos and wow, they were so flavorful and absolutely delicious. My husband had the skirt steak platter with rice and beans and didn’t leave a single bite. The kids also enjoyed their meals, especially the kids burrito and chicken fingers.

I grew up going to Rocco’s Tacos in Boca, so having one open in Huntington truly brings a little piece of home closer to me. We’re so happy this location opened on Long Island and can’t wait to come back!

Rocco’s is top shelf! The place is beautifully decorated and the vibe with the background music is so chill, but full of energy. Came tonight with my family and the dinner was amazing. We waited just under 15 minutes for a party of 6 at peak time around 6 o’clock and by the time we went and grabbed drinks at the bar, our table was ready. We ordered multiple apps – the wings, Ceviche, flauta’s and the guacamole, which is made table side. The ingredients were so fresh and everything was so tasty and flavorful. From the mojito’s to the margaritas and the ice cold Modelo’s on tap, the drinks are delish! And have to give props to our waitress Gabby. She was awesome! So friendly and very attentive! As busy as the place was, she was on top of everything at our table and truly made our experience there great. I had the Carne Molcajete, which was amazing. Others in the party had the burrito bowls, smash burger tacos, the skirt steak and taco salads. Not a complaint at the table. We finished with the cinnamon apple empanadas and Charley’s churros. So happy this place landed in Huntington at the Walt Whitman Shops and definitely a place we’ll be coming back to for sure!

Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila in Huntington, by the Walt Whitman Mall, was such a great experience. Our server, Youssef, was fantastic, qsuper attentive and consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were amazing; I had the coconut mojito and my wife had the coconut margarita, and both were so refreshing and well made.
For food, we ordered the steak quesadilla and the hot honey chicken tacos, and both were absolutely delicious. We also tried the esquites and the table-side guacamole, which was made right in front of us to our liking. It tasted fresh, flavorful, and so yummy.
The restaurant itself is really nice & perfect for a chill night out but also a great spot for a more celebratory dinner like a birthday or special occasion. The vibes were on point with great music and a fun atmosphere. On top of that, Rocco, the owner, is really cool and very approachable, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

We recently visited Rocco’s Tacos in Huntington Station and had a great experience. We were seated quickly. The restaurant was beautifully decorated.

The food was delicious, we ordered Flautas as an app. Then ordered Hot Honey Chicken tacos and the Quesa Biria Tacos.

The drinks were great. We ordered Margaritas. Our server John was on point. He was able to answer all of our questions.

Overall a great experience.

Went for early dinner with my daughters and it was the best experience you can have all around. It really doesn’t get better than being welcomed in it’s cozy ambiance and listening to groovy beats while you enjoy perfectly crafted mexican cuisine. You must get the tableside guacamole for the experience but mostly for the unparalleled fresh taste of the ingredients brought for you to pick right there at your seat. I really want to congratulate the staff that took care of us, from our great server Edgar to the restaurant’s exceptional manager Jason, job well done guys.
