We had omelettes yesterday and they were excellent, served with toast, fried potatoes, and a piece of orange. We were greeted by a smiling, friendly waitress who maintained that welcoming smile with everyone in the restaurant. It’s refreshing to be served by someone like that. I seldom leave reviews, but I was so impressed with the meal and attitude of the server that I feel compelled to write a positive review.

The waitress wasn’t busy at all. She gave us very poor service she wouldn’t clear plates as we finished nor refilled water without being asked. We ordered the veal schnitzel and I couldn’t physically eat it as it tasted freezer burnt and highly processed. Carrots and green beans were undercooked. Horrible experience. Will never go back. Shabby menus that needed replacing. The inside of the restaurant needs a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. Worst meal I’ve ever tried to eat. Couldn’t physically even come close to finishing the meal it was gross.

Tonight it was packed! And yes the service was slow. But they get 5 stars because their food is ALWAYS excellent and never sub par. And their people were hustling their bottoms off. The rebrand here is succeeding because this place is gold. Thank you for being a gem in Wetaskawin.

Castle is our favorite place to eat here in Wetaskiwin, excellent service and yummy eats. We have eaten in as well as delivery. Tonight I’m really going to enjoy thier Thanksgiving special and already know it’s going to be delicious as always. Whenever we’ve eaten in, the service was topnotch, luv the servers, so friendly and very efficient.

Castle Restaurant was so great! The portion sizes were definitely more generous than my stomach could handle, and even my husband didn’t finish my plate (which is rare). Service was friendly, food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was comfortable. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and had a really good visit. The waitress had great timing on checking in on us every time, and was quick with orders. Thank you!

We discovered it after shopping next door. I got the Baby Back Ribs and they were thick. I could only eat half. So we went back a second time. The pile was even bigger. I only ate 1/3.
Excellent value for $25.
My wife got the bison burger at the waiter’s recommendation. It was an excellent suggestion.
We’ll definitely be back again.

As always the food was so delicious!
But I was shocked to only find 10 pieces of calamari and a couple crusts of batter for 20. The food was great other than the portion sizes being smaller than expected.
Also you might want to call and confirm they have seen your online pick up order, I arrived at the time the website said it would be ready (30 mins from the time I placed it) only to find they hadn’t even seen it yet and felt the waitress was irritated with me for the situation. I had to wait another 20ish minutes for the food to be ready but found the waitress to be much happier when I returned.

This place is great. Considering there was only one server, she was awesome. The food was fantastic, pricing reasonable and good quality. Portion size was prefect. Restaurant was clean and bright.

My supper favourite is the Chicken Souvlaki. Greek meal full of flavour! Rice, Greek potatoes, salad, generous serving of chicken, pita, tzatziki sauce & lemon. So so tasty & a healthy choice for me! Photo is the half meal I took home!
