Everything is wonderful about this restaurant. All I was hoping for was some decent Chilean sea bass for my birthday dinner. And it turned out to THE best from the creamy mussels appetizer, the sea bass – tender with a tiny bit of crisp (just how I love it), and the mushroom ravioli I shared with my husband, perfectly delicate.
We were also treated to “the best seats in the house” by the aquarium, with 2 entertaining japanese baracuda sharks as our dinner show.
Even the other guests (regulars) here were so friendly & happy. I don’t often review but Oceans is Very Special!

Not sure why this place has a rating of anything over 4.0. We were in town for Modernism Week and saw this place and decided to try it. We ordered a fried appetizer that came out wet and cold. The salmon wasn’t anything special and also came out not hot. The overcooked vegetables came with pretty much every meal so you know they were taken from a large pot and not individually cooked fresh. And the dry erase board is ridiculous and tacky. Imagine sitting while the back side of that thing is near your table. Visual clutter. None of the items had prices which is suss. It’s a way to rush you through instead of individual attention by the waiter/waitress explaining the offerings. We should’ve left when the appetizer was subpar. The staff wasn’t enthused, a bit gruff. Like when you don’t order liquor you can tell they are letdown. We had high hopes for this place but were very underwhelmed. Had we read the low reviews prior we wouldn’t have eaten there. Our bad. Don’t be fooled by this place. Lots of other places on the valley to depart with your money for a quality, hot, attention to detail meal.

Absolutely loved the Atlantic lobster tail cooked perfectly and so flavorful. I highly recommend sitting by the tank with the baby horn sharks… they’re adorable and so fun to watch while you eat! The service was amazing too. Definitely coming back!

I took my wife here on a Friday night after reading so many positive reviews. It helps that I, literally, live across the street from the restaurant. It was an extremely pleasant experience all around. We started with the Fried Oysters, which were lightly breaded and very tender. My wife had the Lobster, while I opted for the Seafood Pasta. The lobster tail was quite large, fresh, and cooked perfectly, and was a big hit with my wife. The pasta arrived with two large, succulent, shrimp along with two perfectly seared scallops. We were both satiated so we skipped dessert. The service was top notch. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.

We had a fantastic holiday dinner at oceans. The food, drinks, and service were top notch. We especially appreciated their extra effort to accommodate our short notice reservation. Looking forward to dining there again soon.

This was my first time coming to this place. It’s a small, intimate place with top-notch staff that take great care of you. Lots of parking in front and beside the place.
The manager actually came outside and greeted us as we arrived. He explained that because of the Covid-19 pandemic, you had to show your vaccination card to eat inside but there was plenty of tables outside if you didn’t have proof of vaccination.
The menu has a good selection of things to offer. Obviously this is a seafood restaurant and there are a lot of choices. In addition they offer a variety of meat, steak, lambchops, and pasta dishes. Everything sounds delicious.
We started off with appetizers. I had the crab cakes and my friend had the steamed clams. Both were excellent and cooked perfectly. Lots of good choices for appetizers!
For the main course, I had the scallops and my friend had the Chilean Sea Bass. They were served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious. Unlike a lot of other restaurants, these guys focus on quality over quantity. The meal was filling but I wasn’t overstuffed. I really prefer that.
Oh, and their bread is great! It’s served with olive oil but butter is available. Very addictive!
For dessert, I had a hard time choosing but decided on the raspberry cheesecake. It was perfect. Slightly tangy raspberry sauce and perfect NY style cheesecake.
The restaurant’s ambiance was nice. The tables are close enough for cross-table conversations. The people at the adjacent tables were very nice and friendly.
The restaurant staff were great. They kept a close watch to make sure your drink was refilled or if you needed anything. They were professional but very friendly.
My friend lives very close to the restaurant and comes there often. I definitely look forward to coming back soon!
Bottom line – an excellent place to have a delicious meal. It’s a little pricey but totally worth every penny.

The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, and the staff is wonderful: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A truly delightful dining experience!

Reservations are recommended. It’s a small place with indoor and outdoor seating.
They bring a white board around to share the Specials. Started with the Royale salad on the board. It was a tomato salad with a Mediterranean style. Great. We ordered one for the two of us but they split it.
We had the Cajun Barramundi, also on the board. Excellent! Usually this is a whole fish but they serve it as a fillet. Great portion and perfectly spiced. On a plate of mixed veggies.
We also had the Paella. This was disappointing. It came on a bowl and not served in the iron skillet. The waiter hadn’t given this as a description so our expectation wasn’t in the right place.
The contents should have been good together but the shrimp was overcooked and the thigh chicken on the bone would have been better if it had been in pieces. The rice also had quite a bit of water in it which made it not so good. There was also a good amount muscles and some sausage. Basically it was a fish stew with rice.

We’ve been here before and we know it’s good. We will return as their is fish is fresh and we like that mostly everything is accompanied with a good portion of mixed veggies. But we won’t have the Paella! 🙂
