Small barbeque restaurant with plenty of good options. It took a long time to get our food. One of the dining staff walked over and told us that there was an error with the ticket machine and the kitchen had just started making our food. The staff member immediately asked us if we would like anything on the house! Very considerate and friendly staff.

The brisket and baked beans were incredible! Highly recommend.

Great service, friendly staff. Great tasting food. Ordered the “Pig Sty” with a BBQ quesadilla and fried pickle appetizer. Tasted great, my only recommendation would be more meat on the “Pig Sty”, it tasted good but, seemed to have more beans than anything. Here again, not a complaint, just a recommendation, more meat would put it over the top. Will visit again !!!

It was ok, I had a “stuffed” baked potato I have it in quotes because it was more like a sprinkle of meat. All the cheese was melted on the foil it was sitting on and barely any toppings. On the side was a tablespoon of sour cream. I expected a bit more for $8.99. I tasted the pork and brisket and onion rings off the other people’s plates and everything I tasted was under seasoned. Maybe it was just a bad day?

I’ve spent 6 years driving by this place and I finally discovered that it was in error. This place was the best ever. My wife had the cheeseburger and that was the biggest and best patty I ever saw on a burger! The onion rings were hand battered. I had the chopped brisket sandwich and fries. The flag of the sandwich from top to bottom was flavor heaven! The staff was incredibly friendly and informative. I wish there were more stars to give! Outstanding place!

The food was delicious and the service was good. So why not give five stars. Well they don’t know there own pricing. When I asked them about it, even the manager could not explain and call her boss. And that explanation did not match the receipt. If you can’t do math and you don’t read receipts this is the place. The food was delicious.

There’s tourist and then there’s travelers of wonderful road trips and if you want to know where to find the best eats around then you ask the locals and the locals love BBQ at The Butt Hut. This place is always busy for a reason. There menu isn’t just a list of wonderful food but a collage of commonly known dishes turned into something special with their own southern touch. We did not leave there hungry and the friendly hospitality is why we will always make this a definite stopping point.

My family drives from Jackson, MS to eat at this place!!! Brisket is over the top and all the sides are home made delicious!!!!!! Great food and well worth the drive to get it. Just had Easter dinner from the Butt Hut– had it prepare by the great cooks and drove down the day before to pick it up for Sunday— the lady employed that apparently runs the kitchen needs her own cooking show!!!!! Thanks Butt Hut!

Very very very good bbq. The ribs are so tender I was amazed the meat stayed on the bone while they cut them. The sauces are great too. The green bean casserole isn’t really what you’d expect but it tastes better than you can imagine. Not many unadulterated vegetables here. If you’re in Natchez drive across the bridge and get some delicious food that will put you right to sleep.
