One day while working in the city of Corona, I was waiting for show it and stumbled upon a Peruvian restaurant. I decided to give it a try and ordered a saltado de marisco . It was a great choice and tasted delicious. The only thing that didn’t quite meet my expectations were the sauces. They lacked the flavor of the yellow chili pepper and instead seemed more like spicy Mexican sauces.

Im leaving my old comment below so you can see the difference:

Updated: I ordered chaufa de pollo and the chicken was rotten, there was no need to eat it just the smell was terrible, I wanted to be nice and I didn’t make a problem so I quietly took my plate and explained to the woman at the cashier (the owner), she didn’t say much just offered me another plate this time chaufa de carne, I ate praying because I didn’t want to be intoxicated. The worst part was when she showed me the bill and the plate was even more expensive than the menu, her excuse was that everything was so expensive and the menu needed to be updated, that was the last time I put a foot in that place. They should be ashamed to be called Peruvian restaurant.

Old: I really like Pollo Kriollo , my husband and I drive 40’ to get there on the weekends , flavor and prices are good I can taste the sabor Peruano

I was looking to try something I hadn’t tasted before and I had a good experience here. The spices they use are definitely unique and I would come back here again. The lighting and atmosphere in the dining area is pleasant; none of that harsh fluorescent lighting. The service was good; the only thing I would suggest is a little more guidance on the menu for first-timers like myself, and for some reason they seemed stingy with the utensils and napkins. This place charges 3.99% of your bill to use a credit or debit card, which is what, I suspect, the card companies are charging them as a fee. There is a sign warning you of that on the front door, so keep that in mind. If you want to try satisfying Peruvian cuisine, come here and you won’t regret it.

Since my husband is from Peru, we know what good authentic Peruvian should taste like. Kri-Ollo does a nice job! My husband eats here a couple of times a month. The food is authentic and very flavorful. However keep in mind it in a strip mall deep inside the old part of Corona and the facility is not very clean, but the restaurant has an A rating. I recommend it if you’re in the mood for Peruvian. Their Lomo and green spaghetti are excellent!

I was excited to try this place as I am obsessed with another Peruvian place in Ontario but never get to have it because I’m never in that area.

Ordered here for pick up- tallarin saltado de lomo with no onion or tomatoes, and a side of rice

Upon pickup, I was quickly greeted and my food was stored in an insulated food storage box until my arrival.

The tallarin was good, a bit too much pepper than I’d like, but still good. The cuts of steak were perfectly cooked and tender with absolutely no fat, which I appreciated. For the price ($16.50) I wish the box had a larger serving.

The rice was $2.50 for a large scoop.

There were no seated customers but 3 parties there for order pick ups.

If portions increase or price decreases, I would return. Employees are very nice and helpful.

Authentic and delicious Peruvian food! Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired but the food is the star of the show

I love Peruvian food, I have visited several times this location. Always had a great experience, that is until today, my favorite dish. LOMO SALTADO. Today the rice was a bit dry, meat was good so were the fries, the few things I noticed were, 1 young lady there, had no mask at all. The other chubby guy only covering his mouth, sir you breathe in and exhale, the cook I could swear he wasn’t wearing one either, and the AJI was ALMOST BROWN. I will continue to go. But next time I will be careful of how they give me my food. And check this our. NO PAN EITHER

Save your sanity and eat at Arby’s! The food quality and service is poor. Walked in and the woman server just looked at me. No greeting no menu offer just a stare, but it seemed that all the tables were getting the same treatment.

I recommend Misky Misky Cocina Peruana over this place.

Just excellent! Quite rare to find a Peruvian restaurant with the homemade swing in all CA. Definitely a place to go if you want to “go back” to Peru.
