ordered a takeaway which was chicken tikka massala, butter chicken, onion bhaji, pakora and chips chicken nuggets, nan bread and egg fried rice and chips. onion bhaji, chicken pakora was dry no flavour and really cold, chicken nuggets cold and rubbery taste, chips were skin on fries but in a tub not wrapped so were freezing. Tikka was okay but didnt taste like a tikka and wasn’t a smooth sauce its had chunky veg in it, egg fried rice was swimming in grease tasted terrible, garlic nan bread no flavour apart from being burnt on the bottom and tasting no garlic. butter chicken went straight in the bin not smooth and was so gritty in texture like spices not cooked properly tasted awful won’t be ordering again. Very unhappy with this costing just under £50 and couldn’t be eating.

Table was booked for 7pm, and we had ordered not long after this time. It took a good while to get a cocktail which I had ordered, and about 40 minutes or so for the starters to arrive.

After these, around 8.50pm a server asked us how are mains were. We hadn’t even had them almost two hours later. We had to take our food out in carry out bags due to almost missing a train home as we aren’t from Aberdeen. It had felt like we had been forgotten about for our mains.

Upon paying, we were told we had a discount taken off due to the error, which at the time we thought was a nice gesture, however, this was because we hadn’t received the paratha and the chips which we had ordered.

I was so looking forward to this meal as I had heard and seen it was a great restaurant, but after this experience i’m worried to go back. The food ended up being okay, but it probably would’ve been better at the restaurant itself if we hadn’t had to wait almost two hours for it to arrive.

Other than this, the toilets could have been better also. There were three women’s toilets, one was essentially a storage cupboard, and another didn’t even have a lock on the door. The only one which was fairly okay was the first one you come to.

This is a must if you are in Aberdeen and want to try the local whiskey. They have a great knowledge of all Scottish whiskey and is great to do as a group. Would highly recommend

This is an excellent restaurant. We recently discovered Nepalese cuisine at a restaurant in Edinburgh and this one is even better. The decor is very clean and modern with an attractive sprinkling of cultural items. The ambience is very comfortable with soft music and lighting. We don’t like bright spotlights but we also want to see our food. The service is friendly and prompt even though it has become very busy recently with a nearby office building in Union Street filling up. The food was wonderful with generous portions. The chicken pieces were fresh and juicy unlike a couple of bad experiences in different (Indian) restaurants recently. We took the surplus home and enjoyed our meal all over again a couple of days later. Highly recommended but you’ll need to book at busy times.

I am just feedbacking on the share of food I ordered.
I ordered Popadam, Veg Momos, Butter Paneer Masala and Garlic Naan.

Popadam was alright, when it arrived, it was a bit less crispy. Understandable because of travel

Veg momos were good. I have had better but for Aberdeen, I won’t complain.

Butter paneer masala was bad. It was really sweet. Idk why would they make the curry so sweet. It was like drenched in sugar syrup. It ruined dinner for me.

Naan was just a naan.

Ridiculous wait, over 2 hours for mains we had to take doggy bags and met with at the bar/reception “oh so sorry we are busy, there is so many takeaway orders” is unacceptable then said we were given discount which we thought was fine but it’s because they did not give our chips and paratha. This needs sorted out. First bad review on Google and for a reason!!!

Amazing early bird deal from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. Appetizer, main plus Nan or rice plus dessert for 12.95. The tikka masala was way to sweet for me though, the garlic chilli was alright with huge chunks of garlic but only little lamp. All in all the curries were a bit of a let down but the service was outstanding and the deal great!

I was waiting for order over 2 hours which would be somehow acceptable as long as they send any update. They switch off the phone instead and this was the only contact, especially if you use third party services like just-eat. They use own drivers and just-eat will not response to any issues. 2 hours waiting looking through the window for driver not to miss. When finally arrived, refused to give order only because I sent complaint to just-eat saying I would probably make charge back through my bank. They became aggresive. No food delivered, and days of troubles to sort it out. I have no idea how this business can exist.

I never leave reviews but I got this for delivery, the driver lady was really friendly, food came in 30 minutes piping hot. My order came with some poppadom and sauces that I didn’t order but was such a nice touch, butter chicken was full to the brim and had lots of chicken. Naan was soft and fragrant, and mushroom rice was also great! Will definitely become my new favourite spot

We ordered from the Everest for the first time yesterday and the only word I can use to describe our experience was disappointing.
First, We ordered at around 6:30pm and were supposed to be getting the food for 7:15. At around 8pm we called, only to be hung up on multiple times until we finally got through and they said it would be on the way soon. When it eventually arrived at 8:45 it was all very wrong. They forgot 2 portions of rice , sent us 2 plain nans instead of peshwari. And sent a Chicken Chasni instead of a Lamb Chasni. When we called to see if we could get the correct order, they continued to hang up. When we called back they said that the kitchen would be making us a new order and it would be with us ASAP. It is now the next day and we never received the correct order.
Will never be ordering from here again. – butter chicken was good
