Small cozy Japanese restaurant that serves pretty standard fare. Has all the things you know and love like Cali roll, kappa roll, bentos and sashimi. I liked the interior decor especially the hanging red lanterns and the place was tidy. Quick service and the place was pretty busy when I walked in for lunch. Ordered my usual udon and it was on the border of average/great. My noodles were served in a metal bowl with a carrying handle and I found it both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

Love this place for the food and friendliness. Still consider this the best sushi restaurant in Ladner and rivals that of Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond. Highly recommend the Happy Lunch Choice. Great value.

Taste and quality of the food is good. More than enough options to go with depending on what you are craving for. I had lunch special that comes with miso soup – teriyaki chicken with tempura; bro and wife went for udon soup, karaagi, and bento.

Excellent quality salmon here! You can taste the difference. The dinner combo bento E includes a bit of everything such as tasty fresh terriyaki salmon, refreshing sunomono salad, two spring rolls, salmon and tuna sashimi, assorted nigiri, and crispy shrimp and vegetable tempura. Service was awesome! Well done!

Ladner sushi is the go to place when it comes to authentic food and great service. The cuts of sushi in the combos we ordered were fresh and tasty. We got more value then we expected for the money, especially with their after 4pm combo. The desert, which is either mango or green tea cheese cake, is too delicious for words. We will be coming again here soon!

Fast service and a good-sized sockeye sashimi plate. Reasonable prices – dinner for two $31. The place is a little run down – the tables need re-surfacing (linoleum was peeling off), and the washroom could use a renovation.

This rating is less about the food than the exemplary customer service. I had left behind one of my personal belongings after eating there. As I was about to get into my car, the owner of the restaurant chased me down and returned my item. I was very grateful. Thank you, sir! I did enjoy the food;I ordered the beef bento box.

Portion is small. The bento sashimi combo was soso and a bit too cold. Sushi was okay. The wooden bento tray looks beat up and chipped. Should be changed. Service is good.

The place is clean and decent. Staff and service were nice and friendly. Food taste good but the serving come in small amount, I hope they’ll be more generous considering the price which is a bit more expensive compared to other places. They also have a kids size toilet bowl in their washroom which makes it difficult for an adult to poo in it.
