One of the cutest coffee shops I have ever been to! As I walked in I felt as though I was transported to a different time and somewhere in New England. Everything in regards to decor was quaint, clean, and homey which I adored. The service was particularly fast for us busy as it was. I thought we would not be able to find seats actually but there is outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Finally, the cookie was delicious and I devoured it in one sitting. The coffee was good too and there were plenty of options for even the pickiest coffee drinker. Definitely a place everyone on Long Island should experience!

Lovely local coffee, pastries and sweet gifts! Smiling and accommodating staff too! Had fabulous espresso drinks and bought a gift – which the nice lady recognized as a gift and asked if she could wrap for me! I will definitely be back next time!

Unique and delicious treats abound! I love stopping here for a savory and sweet bite and the food never disappoints. Quaint seating available inside and out. Took one star off for service which typically feels very rushed (yes I know they are busy but it is nice to be treated like a person) and also whenever I have asked them to heat up something I ordered they seem bothered and more importantly it is never more than slightly warmed up which is disappointing.

This was my 4th visit to Sweetie Pies. The location is beautifully situated in the heart of Cold Spring Harbor, making it a lovely stop whenever we’re out for a nearby hike.
There’s cozy indoor seating and a peaceful, dog-friendly garden area out back that’s perfect for relaxing. I ordered a hot and iced caramel macchiato along with a chocolate danish, all nice options to enjoy in the calm and scenic setting.

I’ve been a regular customer at this coffee shop, but after my most recent visit, I won’t be returning. I purchased coffee and food as usual and sat in the dining area to get some work done. Partway through my visit, I was asked if I could move to a smaller table, which I was willing to do, but there were no smaller tables available.
Shortly after, I was asked to leave because of a supposed two-hour time limit, a policy that is not posted anywhere, not mentioned when ordering, and not something I’ve ever seen enforced in all the times I’ve visited. The shop operates on a first-come, first-served basis, yet I was asked to leave. I was also genuinely unaware of how long I had been there, as I was focused on my work, and I certainly wasn’t trying to overstay or take advantage of the space.
What made the situation especially disappointing was the way it was handled. The older woman who works there was rude in her delivery, which added to the discomfort of being asked to leave over an unposted policy.
The experience felt unwelcoming and unfair—especially as a loyal, paying customer who supports small businesses. A policy like that should be clearly posted or shared upfront, not sprung on a paying regular customer who has supported the business consistently. Unfortunately, the way this was handled has completely changed how I view this place. There are plenty of coffee shops in the area and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Nice little coffee shop on Main Street. Plenty of pastries to choose from as well. Beautiful seating choices inside and out. Very busy when we arrived, but the counter service was quick yet patient, and very professional. Coffee was good and the muffins were fresh. Some shelves filled with jam and other extras for sale. Nice place.

Recently stopped by for the first time. I agree with some of the other comments that one of the owners (an older woman) came across as a bit impatient. As a newcomer, it would have been nice to have a little more patience while looking around the shop, reviewing the menu, or browsing the kitchen items.
The barista was friendly and patient, which I appreciated. However, when the owner rang me up, it was clear she wasn’t very receptive to my questions about the coffee or the menu.
The line builds up quickly, and some fellow customers also seemed impatient, which added to the rushed feeling.
Overall, the coffee was good, but the experience could have been much better with improved customer service.

As other reviews have said: cozy decor, unwelcoming customer service. I asked the older woman behind the counter if I could work on my laptop for a little while and she said yes, so I sat down and started working quietly. After 30 minutes she approached my table and said “It’s been 30 minutes, it’s time for you to leave.” I might have understood if there were lots of customers waiting, but there are plenty of tables and only two were occupied at the time, including mine. I would have liked to at least finish the coffee I bought, but she told me I was no longer welcome to sit.
Maybe this is why there were only two customers there?

Such a cute, quaint spot in the village. Delicious iced coffee, lemonade and baked goods. There are tables set up to eat inside or outside. Perfect for a quick drink and bite to eat.

Nice little pastry shop. Atmosphere is cozy and makes you feel like you’re in one of those Hallmark movies Customer Service is not the best here though. You don’t feel very welcomed when you walk in through door
