Our family goes to Valley Steakhouse weekly for lunch, and they never let us down. We are HUGE fans of their deep fried cheese curds. The food and service is always exempliary. In our opinion, this is the best restaurant in Uintah Basin!

I had the tip sirloin Medium well and it was great! Great crust and pink inside. The hot wings were fairly good. The bread and cinnabutter was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and attentive. A nice find while staying at the hotel. Recommend to anyone on the area.

Restaurant looks a bit dark from the outside but is bright and open once you get in. The place is loud which is ok, but not expected. They were busy when we got here yet our food came out very fast. It’s good food! Solid, well seasoned and delicious food!! The portions large and the variety of sides is good. My husband and I both had the surf and turf; mine was a sirloin steak and coconut shrimp with a salad, and onion rings while my husband had steak and shrimp scampi, salad baked sweet potato and regular baked potato. They serve a fresh, hot loaf of French bread with cinnamon butter as well. I was hesitant to eat in a steakhouse instead a hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend this restaurant, totally worth it!

Oh my gosh. So good. We went to an early dinner before the rush, and boy did it fill up fast. Popular with the locals. We each got the 16 oz rib eye special. Great price for a rib eye special ! And the regular price was not bad either. My rib eye was smothered in onions and mushrooms as well as cooked to perfection, rare like I like it. I chose the loaded baked potato along with the salad. I also ordered an extra side of asparagus. The asparagus was cooked all the way but not limpy, it still had a bit of crunch. I never had it cooked this way before. Delicious. The salad had lots of fresh veggies and was huge. As was the loaded baked potato. My friend had the rib eye special also, the baked potato and soup. We both shared the complimentary homemade bread. What an enjoyable meal !!!! We both had enough leftover for dinner the next day. Definitely on our list to revisit !!. The atmosphere is very simple. But i didnt go for the decor, the food outweighs the decor. The waiters and waitresses and buspeople are top notch. They constantly were hustling. But it never stopped them from being very attentive to each of their customers in service or a smile. Or helping each other out. The kitchen was very quick. We just about got our order in when our waitress brought out the our soup and salad. Then before we could finish those there was our meal sitting right there in front of us. I’m a slow eater because of a medical problem. And as busy as they were, we never felt rushed to hurry up and leave. It was such a great experience all the was around. A great example of fine dining. Cost, food, presentation, service. 100 stars. Thank you all at Valley Steakhouse !!!!

Was excited to try this place out since the other steakhouse moved locations.
First impression, the server was not wearing a uniform and was dressed very unprofessional. The booth we were seated at was torn on the seat making an uncomfortable dining experience. When the server brought the food he tried setting hot plates in front of my 13month daughter. When he tried to place them on the table he then pushed my drink off the table and into my lap spilling my entire drink. The steaks ordered were supposed to be well done and both were rare. The Alfredo was okay, nothing special kinda plain.
I Will NOT be a return customer and Do NOT Recommend to anyone.

I have to preface this and say, I’m well traveled. I’m from California but have eaten at steakhouses from LA to the South. New York to Ohio. But here in a humble restaurant in Vernal, Utah I ate the most amazing 12 ounce prime rib (with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus).
I went again the very next weekend and ordered another. Medium rare is my suggestion. It was not some fluke, the second prime rib I had was just as amazing as the first, it melted in my mouth and was cooked perfectly. This time I indulged in their house sweet red, which not only surprised me as also excellent, but it paired so well with the flavors of my meal.
I had to rave about the food, but the wait staff was great. They had a fairly loud male waiter but luckily he was never ours. Ours was a very competent waitress who visited just the right amount of times and got us everything we needed.
I could not ask for more.
A personal favorite touch is their sports tvs, like a relaxing cocktail lounge vibe that seems to have died out in the 90s.
10/10. This will be the instant choice for where I want to go for my next birthdays.

Nestled inside the Quality inn, they have an off the charts steak house with an amazing lounge with great drinks and billiards and some of the best food I have ever tasted. I absolutely love the atmosphere and staff. I will be back.

Friendly welcome, nice atmosphere, not what we expected of a Quality Inn restaurant! Varied menu, friendly and helpful service, delicious food, good enough to come back twice!

worst prime rib I’ve ever had, it looked like what they liposuction out of people. hard to get a drink, Caden was the pretend manager and didn’t seem to care about the disgraceful food. I would like to talk to the owner and find out if he supports this, at least there was plenty of horseradish to disguise the dog meat, after complaining they did refund my money
