Visiting from out of state and was excited to try some good ol deep dish, Chicago style pizza.. this location was the closest to our Airbnb.. deep dish was just ok.. the pepperoni was good though.. could have just had it in a regular or thin crust.. 2nd pizza was thin crust.. that was good.. chicken wings were very good! I guess it’s safe to say, deep dish ain’t for me.. lol

Food: Amazing! We come from Hawai’i and it was the best pizza we ever tasted! Those that had lactose issues didn’t have any with these pizzas. Just learned we can order to ship.
Service: Our bruschetta was missing and they allowed us to pick it up another day. Everyone there is so friendly.
Location: It’s a take out place and both times I came they were keeping the floor clean.
Definitely recommended for anyone headed to a boot camp graduation!

Excellent location, great people working there. Horrible app! The app was designed for you to NOT order pizza from them.
I needed a huge order of pizzas. The app asked for an update. Tried to use Google to log in, didnt work. Reset password? OK never got verification code.

Picked up dinner for the family and it was perfect! We always get the deep dish “Lou” and it did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and efficient. Food was fresh, hot and delicious as always! Definitely highly recommend this location!

Food is always A1 here. Order well-done on the app for less soggy crusts that holds better later. The Lou gets the umami of the garlic tomatoes and veggies, but add in a Sausage patty to get meat distributed evenly underneath.
I only come back to Chicago on the holidays, and I was a part of last year’s infamous cancellations after 3 hour delays. Yesterday, the store was backed up out the restaurant for pick-up as well.
However, unlike this year, the delays were met by very empathetic and trained staff to handle the Karens. They were pushing out pies quickly despite being behind, and I saw no one person overstay 20 minutes past their arrival (myself included).
Huge improvements to last year with respect to personnel and training. App needs better ETAs on holidays to account for delays.
I’ll always be coming back here to get my holiday pies for my family when I visit home as per tradition.

We ordered a medium sausage deep dish but ending up with a cheese deep dish! So we called and they deliver another pizza but it took over 1 hr before we got the pizza! The sausage deep dish was MUCH better! Definitely order is half baked, this way it’ll be hot when you get it!

This location is a complete disaster. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with my order at Lou Malnatis’s in libertyville. My pizza’s were delivered an hour late even though this order was placed ahead of time (2 hours). I got a text saying the pizza would be 15 mins late, then 45 minutes late. They rely on DoorDash to deliver their food which has never been reliable. My food was cold and needed to be microwaved. I called the restaurant to ask where my food was and they had no idea. I talked to a female manager named Danni and she said she would email me a gift card for the value of my order. I never got the gift card. I will never order from here again.
