Amazing pizza and cheese bread! Very nostalgic. Every plate we saw come out had amazing looking food on it. Service was fantastic!

What a gem. Ordered the battered fish. Its huge. Hubby ate his but I could have shared and eaten 1/3 of one. Easily the size of 2 buns. Tots are crispy. Got 2 lovely pieces of pie to go. Too full to try why we were dining. We will be back. Probably trying the pizza next. The staff knew every person that walked in the door except us since it was our first trip. True diner feel with the conversations and pictures on the wall.

Food was excellent and fresh. Small place but if we’re not freezing, lots of outdoor seating.

We’ve been coming here since moving to the area 5 years ago. Mom’s diner is by far the best little restaurant in town. They are ALWAYS so friendly to us, including my kids. Most restaurants will ignore my boys but not here. Anytime we’ve dined in the waitresses will look my kids in the face and have a conversation with them, making them feel very welcomed. We love all the car themed decor inside too. They always have our meals prepared in a good timely manner and it’s always delicious.

Awesome little restaurant. Everyone was super nice, the prices are fair, and I love all the decorations. The Breakfast Stromboli is the stuff of dreams though- it’s honestly the best breakfast sandwich that I’ve had anywhere ever. I can’t wait until I’m passing by Oakland City again so that I can come back.

Been there several times. Good food, good service, and small town feel. Never had a problem. Nice little “mom and pop” style diner. Not a big box store name. If you are a repeat customer…….they learn your name and the conversations to go with meals are great.

I love Mom’s Diner! You can’t go wrong with classic and affordable diner food! If you’re ever in Oakland City make sure to stop in. Their cheese curds and onion rings are the best of best in this region!

UPDATE: THE OWNER IS NOW THREATENING ME FOR MY HONEST REVIEW!!!!!!! The employees were cussing and overwhelmed by 4 customers. I tried to order a biscuit and a side of bacon. Was told I could ONLY get a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I do not like eggs with cheese. I tried again and was told multiple times with rolling eyes and certain language that my only option was a bacon egg and cheese biscuit so how did I want those eggs done?!!! I ate the top of the dry overcooked biscuit. The bacon was covered in the pound of cheese so I had to throw the rest in the trash. Honestly the place was so dirty, I was slightly afraid to eat any of it. No vent hood over the cooking area. Apparently there’s no building and codes in this area. Maybe no health inspector either.
The building is run down. Equipment doesn’t look safe or kept up. Nothing looked clean. The people inside were rude and refused to make what was asked for even though everything was right there.
Definitely zero stars. Definitely a bad impression. Definitely do not recommend
