Ginger & Clove Cafe – Hampton, NH – The Breakfast Bunch

I ordered my usual scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. The eggs were cooked well, but they were definitely way too salty.

Ginger & Clove is a cute little breakfast nook with a unique menu that is tied to the owner’s upbringing in New Orleans. Service is awesome – thank you, Katie! They have a breakfast and lunch menu with many delicious options to choose from. The Biscuits n’ Gravy are the best I have had in New England, and everyone else’s food looked great as well. We can’t wait to come back.

Food was fantastic. Sausage gravy on point
Biscuit was flat grill toasted. The Bloody Mary was one of the better ones I’ve had. Will definitely return.

Had the loaded tater tots special with French toast and bacon today! Delicious, as usual! These guys put out some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had anywhere! Super friendly staff and best of all…quality ingredients! I love it! Definitely consider these guys if you’re in town!

Wow! This place is so cute and has such amazing food. I went yesterday with a friend and the service was great. They have cold brew on tap and such amazing choices of food. It was so hard to pick which thing I wanted. I ended up with the Haverst Bennie and it was so good! The cornbread was so soft and not grainy like some cornbread I have had in the past. My friend got a breakfast sandwich and she enjoyed that as well. Prices were great also. I can’t recommend this place enough.

From sweet to savory, this family run cafe is for you! The lightest omelets we have ever had! Don not pass up this great breakfast/lunch spot! Big thanks to server Aydin for being super attentive & friendly!

We are up from Northeast Pa, staying in Hampton Beach area and I was in the mood for a good waffle with fresh fruit, upon the recommendation from Jacki in the Hampton Beach Things to do Facebook group we came in today for a late breakfast. I already had my mind set on the Patriotic Waffle after seeing it online, GREAT CHOICE! It was so light and refreshing, and filling. No need for syrup, as the fruit and whipped creme were plenty flavorful. Service was wonderful, our waiter was a polite young man, very pleasant, engaging with all the customers. The restaurant is super clean, beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful breakfast experience and will be back next time we are in town.

Food was fine but nothing special.

Service: We got there and were told to wait despite empty tables and multiple staff walking around. Definitely seems like a small family run place which isn’t a bad thing but this one did lack a lot of efficiency. We had a young man waiting on us but what was odd was the other servers around him would mutter responses to him when we asked questions or tried to make conversation during our order.

I ordered the sweet potato hash bowl and my partner ordered the western omelet and we got a table pancake.

The sweet potato hash was good because it had bacon bits in it but they forgot the cheese I ordered on my eggs and there was spinach mixed into the bowl but not cooked which seemed odd.

The veggie omelet lacked flavor and was overfilled with caramelized onions.
Finally the pancake was good but a little more fluffy than my preference. We ordered the real maple syrup and it wasn’t enough to cover the pancake.

This place isn’t bad, but there are many options in the area that have better service and food.

Went here after seeing many people talking about their experience. Pulling into the parking lot it does not easily give off the impression that there is a restaurant there though I had driven by multiple times. Walking in the place opened up to a very spacious environment that looks and feels extremely clean, relaxed and inviting. The food was incredible. My son ordered pancakes that were huge and fluffy. I ordered one of the hash bowls and was blown away! Many times corned beef hash is a very greasy, out of the can type of experience. It was very clear this stuff was NOT your typical dish. It was crisp, very little grease, and just a touch of seasoning. Very well done!

Wonderful food and service! I got the harvest bowl with homefries and it was fantastic! Good balance of sausage to hash. Eggs done perfectly. Added some cholula to upp the spice for me (not to hide flavor) Cornbread was yummy and a great balance to the rest. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu! They even offer a coffee to go if you didn’t get your fill!
