Food is delicious and authentic! That said, while everything was really really good, be prepared to wait an hour to two hours for your food. We got here at 3:02……it is 4:40…and we do not have our food yet…..even a couple who ordered take out had to wait….I know the food may be worth the wait…but others may not be as forgiving and kind as I am doing this review…if you’re in a hurry don’t eat here. There is karaoke, excellent food, exceptional service and kind staff. This restaurant is designed to be a calm, fun & enjoyable experience, so don’t come if you do not want to wait, enjoy, relax and unwind. All of our food came by 4:53pm.

My daughter and son in law brought me here for the first time to eat early dinner. We were greeted by Niky she was wonderful all the way till the moment we exit. She helped us with recommendations with drinks and food because the Puerto Rican choices on their menu were all so wonderful that it was hard on top of that it was over the top delicioso!

By far the BEST place to get authentic puertorican cuisine and environment. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. The Chillo is by far my favorite dish in this place, it NEVER disappoints. Si eres boricua, este es el sitio, hasta Karaoke tienen, la pasa súper kbron.

Stepping into this Puerto Rican restaurant felt like stepping back into my childhood. The flavors of the rice and beans and the pollo guisado were so authentic, it instantly brought back memories of home-cooked meals. The atmosphere was spacious yet warm and welcoming—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment. Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. With the perfect mix of music, delicious food, and a thoughtfully designed space, the whole vibe took me down memory lane. We had a great experience at La Isla menos Restaurant. The rice and beans were perfectly seasoned, the chicken was juicy, and the churrasco was cooked to perfection, full of flavor and incredibly satisfying. On top of the delicious food, the service was outstanding! I wish we were closer to visit more often!!

Food was authentic and packed with flavors! Various kinds of mofongos and PR dishes. The service staff are super friendly and attentive. Kept us posted on the status of the food and made sure we had everything, that we enjoyed the food and checked on us frequently.
Clean dining room area and restrooms. They let loose and enjoyed nice karaoke as well… Even handed the mic over to some of the patrons as well.. What a treat it was to have found this restaurant!

first time here. was very clean and service was great.
food was fantastic n great portions. this is a must t visit.
I had the mofongo con carne asada. also took a chuleta can can to go and was excellent. make sure is for 2 people because is very large.
even the bathroom was very clean.
