Kobe Sushi and Teriyaki is hands down the best sushi spot in Yakima! The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, and the service is consistently excellent. We love coming here—not only for the sushi but also for their wide variety of hot meals and other options. It’s our go-to place in Yakima. Highly recommend! First time I’ve ate here and it will probably be the last. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and it was extremely dry. The only good experience was that the serve was very nice.

Be careful if you have allergies! I used to go to Kobe for gluten free fried rice. I went last Thursday and the waitress said they didn’t do that. When I explained they used to and asked if she could talk to the cooks she said no, there’s a language barrier. I explained I have an allergy and I didn’t want to chance it. I canceled my rice and told her to only bring my drink. She came back a few minutes later and said she called her manager and the manager told her how to make it gf. I was leery, but she assured me it would be gf. 3 days later I am still suffering the consequences of eating gluten. Absolutely NOT worth it. It used to be my go to but I won’t be going there again.

My son took me here for my birthday. I had the dynamite roll, my son had the Fuji mountain rolls, and my wife had Teriyaki chicken. My roll was just fantastic!!! My son’s was good as well but mine was better. Also my wife’s chicken had a wonderful grilled chicken flavor. I was moist and flavorful!

The server was not rude but passive with bare minimum effort. She got our order wrong. Once we brought that to her attention, she didn’t care. She didn’t try to fix it. I told her miso soup came with the orders. She said no, they don’t. I picked up the menu and confirmed it with Justin. Called her back over and explained that to her. She’s like, okay. Justin had to ask her twice before she was like, “Do you want me to bring soup out?”. The soup that she brought out wasn’t even incorporated all the way. Wasn’t worth it at all. The rest of the food was average at best. She had a lazy attitude and demeanor. I’ve been a server for a long time. It’s not that hard to treat people with kindness and give a basic level of customer service. In all, it was definitely not worth the money we spent or the time we took to drive out there.

Don’t waste your time & money I bought a Bento box that comes with white rice & did not get a single box of rice I called back to confirm this with them at there staff immediately lied and said they put a box of rice.. why would someone lie about something so little..? I feel disrespected & not appreciated as a customer since this was one of my favorite spots to eat in town & i bought food quite often here before they closed down & when re opened back up. Plus everyone they recently hired are rude & no help!

Crab-solutely delicious!
The snow mountain roll is my all time favorite. It has everything I like in a sushi roll. The bento box is a go to when I’m craving a little bit of everything. I ordered the pad thai and it was a little too “eggy” for me but decent flavor. Service is friendly and sometimes it’s fast. They do get a lot of orders and customers so give them some grace. Beer options available.

They take 40% of the young staff’s tips at this sushi bar.. they are overpriced, so I see no reason to take a waitress’s tips. Being a waitress is a thankless job. It’s greedy of them to do this and it’s taking advantage of staff. So when you go there please be aware of this situation. 40% is rediclous they even garnish cash tips. I noticed they higher young people that probably don’t realize this isn’t fair to them. It’s taking advantage of the employees. I never shared my tips when I was in the food
service industry. Shame on you Kobe Sushi Teriyaki. That’s way to much 40% is rediclous? Any seasoned server would not tolerate this garnishment

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The menu is reasonably priced, and the food so delicious. Portions were big enough to be filling without left overs which is ideal. I was surprised by the Thai Tea. It was sweet and very refreshing. The staff were also very friendly and served the our order quickly although it was moderately busy.
