We came here for lunch. We ordered the hot wings and fries from the appetizers to split, they had a nice little kick to them. We ordered the Gyro lamb over rice and Gyro chicken over rice. I was thinking would be halal style, in the flavors and not just the processing of the meat. It didn’t have the high heat level that I’m familiar with, and there weren’t very many spices in it, it was good but I usually like a lot of spice. I added a bunch of the hot sauce on top but it didn’t seem hot to me. For those who do not like spicy food, this is a great place to try it. The mango lassi was delicious and the masala chai ( labeled just tea) is full of flavor.

I am very disappointed with this restaurant. I ordered chicken biryani, but it tasted terrible. It was like plain rice mixed with chicken curry. How can they call plain rice with chicken curry “chicken biryani”? It seems they don’t even know how to make it. Overall, the food did not meet even basic expectations, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good biryani.

Today I visited Taste of Bengal on Washington Ave in Endicott with a few friends, and it was a great experience.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the owner, Mr. Mustafa, personally taking care of us as well as other guests. That kind of attention really stands out.
We ordered garlic naan, butter chicken, sizzling kebab, and palak paneer. Everything was delicious, but the garlic naan and kebab were especially outstanding.
The service was unbelievable. Warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going back again

Read all these reviews and decided to try it out for the first time. Venue was decent. Ceiling tiles near the entry door had black grease, not a good look. Waiter spoke very fast and ended up giving items not ordered. Both chicken and goat Biriyani rice was Bland. Asked for yogurt for the rice and was given watered down version of it that didn’t look eatable. The lack of Proper communication was insane. I asked for 4 to go containers for the 5 plates of food I had on the table I was given 2! I asked again for 2 more bc of the amount of food needed to pack away, the older man gave me full Attitude and started speaking his language with his coworker. He then proceeded to to stare at me as I packed all the food and showed attitude as if asking for 2 more containers was such a problem for paying customers! Will Never return to this place. Terrible customer service. And if you know what Bengali food should taste like you would understand how terrible most of the food was.

Went to this place a few weeks ago for lunch and it was amazing! My friend and I got the Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala which we shared with a double order of Garlic Naan. Everything was so good! If you like garlic, the Garlic Naan is a must. Both entrees were very flavorful and the portions were generous. I will definitely be returning here next time I am in Endicott area!

This was our first time there and it was delightful. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was excellent and they had a wide selection of dishes. The Children’s Menu was very good and filling for my hungry little man. The environment was very nice, clean, and well decorated.

Ordered take out and was very happy with the food. Pleasantly surprised how fresh the ingredients in the entrees were. We ordered Lasuni Gobi, Chicken tikka roll, vegetable biryani, shrimp biryani, samosa chat & chicken Manchurian. All dishes were the right amount of spices and balance.

After a 3 hour workout, I was starving looking for something ethnic to stuff my face and feel full which led me to this place.
Walked in and was immediately greeted by the gentleman working the bar. He was very warm, inviting, and accommodating.
The restaurant has a very cozy feel to it, great place to bring a date.
I ordered chicken Tikka masala, garlic naan, tea, and a mango lassi which came to $22. Quite pricey for one but I didn’t feel cheated. My food was delivered quickly hot off the stove.
Very large portions so I got exactly what I was looking for but the food did leave a bit to desire flavor wise. The chicken wasn’t tender as I wanted… I felt like sometimes it was chewy and it was fighting me back from being chewed lol. The masala sauce lacked spice. The garlic naan was kinda dry.
The food wasn’t bad at all, just didn’t blow my mind.
All in all, great place with good food. I’ll be back.

The Bangali Student Association hosted Gaye Holud and catered food from taste of bengal. The food was soo good everyone came for seconds and thirds. The spice level matched brown community standards and the attracted the diverse community too. The portions was great and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend!!
