First time trying their food tonight and everything was fantastic. We got a lot of food for a family of 4 with leftovers for tomorrow! My only mild complaint is that the lo mein was dryer than I would personally like but everyone else loved it.

I’ve lived here in Jville for well over 20 years and so happy to have found this restaurant. Ate here for the first time today and was very pleasantly suprised the food was so delicious and very reasonably priced. Ordering online was convenient and easy. Walked in to pick up my order and quickly noticed how clean and welcoming this restaurant is. I already look forward to my next visit. Thank you for your service to this community.

Quaint little Chinese restaurant that offers Dine-in and carryout. Saw some pretty good reviews so figure we try it out. We dined in ordered food which took a few minutes longer than normal as far as these type of Chinese establishments. Very impressed with the food, which was fresh, hot, and seasoned great. The Hibachi steak and shrimp what’s fantastic, lots of meat! Highly recommend

Unfortunately, if they haven’t fallen they’re slipping. I loved this place. Most recently, my wife and I took issue with their food. Sweet and sour chicken: oil soaked breading. Schechwan chicken: lightly spiced and thickened soy sauce without a tongue tingle in sight. Crab rangoons: cream cheese in yellow died wrap. Egg drop soup: bland. Wanton strips: stale. I don’t know what changed. I don’t know why it changed. I would like it to go back.

I went in there for the first time with my spouse to have dinner because it was recommended by a colleague from work that is was the best Chinese food in town. I had a simple question about one of the pictures on their menu that I had asked the girl at the front counter. She didn’t know and went to ask the rude cook that just yells at her in front of customers saying “ I don’t know it’s just a picture, it’s lo mein or something”. Like really?? If I was that girl I wouldn’t tolerate being spoken to like that in front of customers!!! It’s disrespectful and disgusting!! So we left, never ever will go there and to my colleagues I’ll let them know as well.
Edit to reply to the owner: this happened during the day when we and one other customer was in the restaurant. You guys were not “busy” so that’s a poor excuse of a reply! Why would I even want to put in an order when that’s how you act? Note that I rated the service and atmosphere, obviously, not the food since I couldn’t even order.

I’ve been to other Asian food restaurant, and Golden Pot is the best out of all that I’ve tried. Special house soup was the best. The wonton soup is another good one. The sesame chicken, and the Beef Fried Rice all good flavors and you can’t beat the price for what you get for good quality food. the staff super friendly.
