This is a great place to stay! You’re right next to the small airfield, but there’s no noise pollution. It’s really fun to watch the small planes take off and land. There were even helicopters in the morning! Super cool. And then the little restaurant… amazing! The owners are super friendly and we had a delicious breakfast with fresh pancakes! Yummy!! Everything is made fresh here, absolutely worth an overnight stay and a visit to the restaurant! Thank you so much!

Great small place right next to the airport. Mrs Carrol and Mr. Dave do a great job cooking and serving the food. Had the country fried steak and eggs breakfast with grits. I was shocked to see a real steak cut and not just fried ground beef. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Grits were great and super buttered. Would love to see this place packed. Support local.

This is a mom and pop restaurant serving fresh and delicious homemade food at a very reasonable price. Staff is welcoming and friendly. I love that they are supportive of active duty military members and veterans. Everything that we ordered came out quick, very tasty and flavorful. Our waitress was nice and attentive.

Ordered to go. NY Strip and eggs. Order steak Medium Rare and it was extremely well done. Did not eat it. Homefries were ok but nothing special and the eggs OM were more like OverHard. Will not be going back.

What a serendipitous find! We went snorkeling at Devil’s Den and worked up an appetite. Google pointed us to this sweet little airport restaurant. The food was really good. Chicken fried steak was moist and crunchy. Their white gravy was excellent! Tastes like a home meal made with love!

Carol and her husband (the owners) were just as sweet and fun to chit chat with as could be!

Definitely stop in after a dive/snorkle before you hit the road!

Nice little mom and pop restaurant. We will be back. Food was fresh hot and delicious. She said it would be a minute but I have waited longer at fast food restaurants. Homemade food and you don’t even have to do the dishes or cook it. You will not be disappointed, the lady that runs it is very nice

You have to stop if for a Crazy Carol Hug!!! After that, help yourself to a tasty BBQ Sandwich, NY Strip or Double Burger while you watch small aircraft dabble around the Williston Airport. The food is good, the people are better. Help save a local historical lunch spot and fellow veteran. Stop on in and grab a byte at the Pyper Kub!

I didn’t know you could make a omelet with 1 small egg.
The worst breakfast ever. The bacon was days old you couldn’t even tear it, the turkey on Christmas vacation was more tender, the toast didn’t have enough butter to cover a cheezit when I complained they never offered more butter just to reduce bill by $1
They charge $3 for toast
A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, PATIENCE AND MONEY. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. NEVER

We stopped at the Pyper Kub Café and Restaurant in Williston, FL, while traveling from Crystal River back to Highway 75 near Gainesville. Pyper Kub Café and Restaurant is located at the Williston municipal airport and owned and operated by a lovely older couple who’ve been there for over 15 years (if I remember correctly). The place is easy to find on Google, but you cannot see it from the roads traveling through town. If you are one of those people who miss going to your grandma’s house and having her cook for you, share stories of days gone by, tell silly jokes, and make sure you have everything you need, then this is the place to visit! Carol (self-proclaimed as Crazy Carol) welcomed us into the café and let us pick where to sit. We ordered breakfast, but she offers anything on the menu to be cooked any time. She made our breakfast herself and made sure we had everything we needed just like a beloved grandmother would do. I had eggs, bacon, and home fries. My significant other had a western omelet with a sausage patty, home fries, and toast. I am pretty sure she gave us way more than normal! She was such a blessing. She shared some interesting stories about the café and her husband, who was also there and threw in a few jokes. Such a lovely lady! At the time, we were the only customers, but towards the end of our meal, a couple of other people walked in and another employee. We could tell Carol and her husband care very deeply about their community and those who stop by the airport for a fresh meal. The prices are great, and she offered specials packaged baked goods for an extra couple of dollars, which reminded me of when grandma makes brownies to send home with you. When we left, Carol offered us a hug and hoped for our safe travels home. Oddly, they offer public notary service, too, if you happen to need something notarized. The owners love God and love the military (Carol’s husband is a veteran). I hope that anyone reading this review will stop at the café while open (7am-2pm daily at this time) and give Carol some love while she cooks for you! What they offer at this café is something that seems missing in a lot of businesses today – the sense that you are truly welcome, wanted, and the owners so gracious for customers to treat like family. Give them a try!
