Great Thai food restaurant in Durham. The main dish have a spice rating that was easy to understand unlike other Thai restaurants. Now the food was fantastic and quick. We did eat on a Thursday after 6pm and it started getting crowded so I would get there early. Oh they also have a lunch menu I am going to have to try.

One of the best Thai restaurants we’ve eaten…great service with smiles, clean and quick service. We love noodles so we had the pad see ew, drunken noodles, pad Thai, noodles in braised beef broth, shrimp tom yum soup, fried wontons, fried calamari…everything was cooked to perfection and the noodle dishes all came with generous beef slices, great value for money…definitely going back if we’re in the area again.

When a restaurant in a college town is packed with patrons who are not college students, you might be on to something special. We arrived on a Sunday evening right at opening time and were very fortunate to be seated. The staff/ family were super friendly and accommodating. And the most important thing, the food, was next level delicious. Could not recommend a restaurant more. If you are in Durham, and you love Thai food, Thai Angle is a must!

Great Thai food in a very central location. Perfect spot for a quality dinner and then exploring the downtown Durham area. Good service and delicious food, worth a stop.

My husband and I came in tonight for the first time and we were blown away! Portion sizes are huge and the food is next level. We will most definitely be back

Went here for lunch with my husband, very fair priced lunch specials, flavor was AMAZING, it’s now our top favorite Thai place in Durham. Spice lever was also great. I got the Panang Curry (Medium spice) and my Husband got the Pad Thai (no spice, nice sweetness). The mango juice wasn’t anything special but still good, but my husband liked the Thai ice tea and their wontons are so crispy definitely a must!! We’ll be coming back again as regulars for sure!

Atmosphere and service were great, however the two dishes we ordered were subpar. The pineapple fried rice had an excellent amount of yellow curry powder, however the chicken was dry and thin. The dish overall was a bit over cooked, missing a good amount of raisins and the pineapple was a bit dry. The other dish, mushroom and broccoli, was overly salted. But everything on that dish was otherwise cooked well.
Overall, there are definitely better Thai places for those two dishes, however it was a nice looking restaurant with friendly staff.

There’s a parking lot right across the street from the restaurant with plenty of parking. The service was attentive and friendly. The green curry was one of the best we have tasted.

Best Thai food I’ve had in the triangle and in a while really !
The drunk noodles were crispy
And the chicken cashew was amazing
Service was a bit weird ,they took our utensils while I was eating but the food was so good I’m coming back for sure and the prices are decent as well .

Cute place and friendly service. The dishes we ordered were a bit disappointing since it wasn’t cooked like it should be. We had ordered the papaya salad (too sweet & saucy), chicken larb (ok but missing an ingredient), the pad Thai ended up being like a stir fry noodle with the cauliflower & carrots (not the typical pad Thai) and the drunken noodle was lacking some spice. 🙁
