After 20yrs of The Landing Restaurant we have decided it was time for a change. This Winter we focused on what our next chapter would look like and what our customers would enjoy. We would like to welcome you to Tiff’s – a comfortable, casual, lakefront location with great food, amazing cocktails & spirits. A place where you can pop into one of the over 70 easy access boat slips, located right in front our restaurant. Join us in our remodeled casual dining room, chill at our updated bar where you can watch a game or relax on our lakefront patio. We have a new menu that is sure to please everyone in your group. Casual small bites, sandwiches, wraps, salads, pastas, steaks and seafood that will have you coming back for more.

We love Tiff’s. Dominique is a wonderful, friendly waitress. We always enjoy catching up with her. The food was delicious. We had the Greek salad which was amazing, NY strip, cooked perfectly, and the pasta dish was so fresh and wonderful. Melted in your mouth! The price on the Belle Glos pinot is hard to resist so we always get a bottle. Always worth a visit to Tiff’s! Cheers

Pretzel was big, I mean big.
Cheese was flavored and the mustard was fabulous
Salad was perfect with rye crumbs
Steak was medium rare, the way we ordered it, seasoning was good and tender.

We have been trying new (to us) places around SML even if it means a long drive by car or boat – both of which you can do to get to Tiff’s.
We were a little surprised that we can go go into the condo building and go down the elevator to get there but we figured it out. The bar and dining room decor have a more updated, current feel even a little elevated which we welcomed.
We had a reservation and though arrived a little early, we’re seated immediately. There are large window walls so the view of the cove was good. Chairs were comfortable. I only mention that because there are so many restaurants where they are not.
Our server came over right away but we needed time to peruse the menus – both food and drink. We each ordered a speciality cocktail – Legendary Peach Martini, Spiked Berry Lemonade, Jalup in Yo Business and Woodford Reserve Bourdon Manhattan (guess that isn’t really speciality) – and all were enjoyed.
See ordered Breaking Bread to nibble while we decided on entrees. The chocolate butter was interesting and we debated whether it should have been a dessert option (see were split.)
Entrees are varied: Bruno’s Mixed Greens with Crispy Chicken (great crispy chicken), Loco Saltado (spicy), Pittsburgh Filet (very good) and Linguini Primavera (outstanding blend of vegetables, hint of lemon over fresh linguine.) We all enjoyed very much and I got to enjoy again as leftovers since the Primavera was a large portion.
Since we were celebrating my brother’s birthday, he had a chocolate dessert (torte?) that was decadent.
We walked out onto the patio before we left and decided we would be back soon and dine al fresco.

This restaurant was top notch. The food was wonderful, the wait staff Mark was attentive and offered suggestions for my food allergies (GF). The view from the outside table seating area was gorgeous.Tge inside seating was very upscale. Large variety of wines and specialty cocktails. All delicious. The havya Peruvian food vibe that was amazing. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoy this restaurant.

My friends and I got to go to Tiff’s for their trivia night! Super friendly crowd, great staff, speedy food/drink times. Definitely will come back when it is warmer to sit on their outdoor patio with the amazing view!

First time visiting the area. Our host recorded Tiff’s Lakefront and it did not disappoint. In summer season it would be an awesome place to enjoy the lakeside views and sunset on the patio. We had superb friendly service from Dominique and Barbara! Extensive innovative menu and everything was delicious. We had the Peruvian Beef dish, butternut squash soup, sausage ragu pasta and the most amazing piece of Carrot cake you will ever eat!! It’s huge! Without drinks our bill was $90. They had a wonderful local musician playing as well. Lovely decor and great bar area also. Give this place a try when in the region!

My husband tried to explain to his French students the difference between going somewhere to eat and going somewhere to dine. This is a restaurant where you dine. Fabulous experience. The atmosphere is perfect with views of the lake and intimate chic setting. The food is so delicious and sophisticated. Everything we ate was a work of art and danced on my taste buds. My only regret was not taking pictures of each course. The service was superb. Our waitress was so attentive to our needs. They don’t rush you in and out. Such a relaxed atmosphere where you can vist and enjoy your company. This is a family owned business. They are so warm and welcoming. The menu is always evolving as to the season and the chef’s creative mood. So while they have things that are always there, there is always something new to try. They will also customize meals for your dietary needs. Absolutely incredible!

We had a family dinner while staying at Mariners Landing. It was very convenient to have such a nice dining option within the resort! Food was so delicious! Service was excellent! This is a great place to eat and I will definitely recommend this place! We loved it!

The Landing Restaurant is located on the first floor of the apartment building. We were fortunate to dine there on July 4. Despite the restaurant being busy, our waiter was very helpful, and our food arrived promptly. We ordered Ahi Tuna Tiradito, Italian burrata, Shrimp Ceviche, and Grilled Calamari, all of which were delicious! I believe it is the best restaurant that you can find in the Smith Mountain Lake area.
