I have to say that I used to really dislike this place. They were dark and ONLY served the locals. I’m pleased to say that they’re really trying to change their image. The food has gotten much better thru the years. And I was actually happy with the service today as well. Big improvement! Our server was friendly and did not leave us hanging. She saw when we wanted her attention, and I say thank you for it. The logging burger is a monster of a burger! Even I couldn’t finish all of it. The bloody Mary had a bit too much Worcestershire sauce for us, but we’re still pretty good. Wife enjoyed her breakfast scramble. See you next time…

Was a little skeptical when we first walked in the joint. First thing i wanted to know if the restaurant was open. The young lady said no we are serving in the bar. So okay sat down. Got a menu fariley large breakfast and dinner. We decided on the country skillet was spelled (county skillet) but i fried eggs with mine and the wife got scrambled. So this plate was really good and a lot of food. Cuntry gravey was very good. Nice touch was when the cook brought out our food. Very nice lady. They put the last place we ate in to shame. Hot large portions of food. Good wait staff as well.

As I walked I found the stench of stale alcohol a bit overwhelming. The restaurant was closed but they still served food in the bar. I had to order at the counter bar and was not even offered anything to drink, not even water. I ordered chicken strips which were overcooked. They should be a golden brown, not dark brown with the smell and taste of being cooked right before burning. The dips offered were only ranch (I think), ketchup and horseradish mix of some kind. None of which were very good. Even after the barmaid brought my food, she still didn’t offer anything to drink…in a bar!!! The music was so loud that I wound up getting my food to go. No check was given, but I saw the price on the menu and just left that amount. Sorry, but bad service deserves no tip. If you like run down bars that smell funky, bad bar food and a place with local over-aged biker types then this is the place for you….but not me.

Went for brunch with a group of 8 people on a Sunday. We were very well taken care of the whole time by Whisper, who seemed to magically know exactly when we needed something and makes one helluva cocktail!
Food was delicious with large portions.
The atmosphere is a bit conservative but not “in your face” right wing, more rural small town with newer country/folk music playing.
