I went with 2 leaders from my organization and they enjoyed the pleasant disposition of the owner and the courteous and friendly service. It was my first time, I plan to go there more in the future. It was worth our time. Thank you to the management of the restaurant.

Definitie must keep on your take-out list when in the DMV. Great hole-in-the-wall for authentic nijah food. Courteos, professional, and supportive staff always. People drive from up to 2hrs away, so let that speak for itself.

The customer service here is horrible. They act like they are doing you a favor for the food. I don’t know if they have a new owner or if he just doesn’t have time to supervise the restaurant. He should close the place if he cannot supervise them.

Ordered the grill fish with sauce and plantains, the extra large suya and a meat pie. The food tasted great, fast service, and the food was well packaged. Very satisfied and I’m a fan. I’ll definitely order from them again!

Ladies, if you come in cute (which I already know yall do!), expect to be there for an additional 30mins. The owner is nice enough, but the staff will literally look you in your face without saying a word until you ask if you can be assisted. Last 4 times in ordered, I wasn’t given the meats I wanted because they didn’t have it. No word, no “what can we substitute it for” just gave me whatever….and they wrap the plates with saran and aluminum so you won’t know until you’re ready to eat.
This review is specifically because we’ve been ordering less and less since the last situations.
Just wanted a tray of suya (dry and tough) and a tray of meat pie. Peep how raw the fillings are in pics. Plus a tray packed with rice and one piece of meat…times are hard, I know but $20 for oily rice and one goat meat thats literally skin and bone.

The jollof rice was very good, fried fish was okay. They also give you a lot of food for your money. However, the food is in buffet style trays that are not heated and exposed. The Guy serving the food was standing right over it. Restaurant also looks very dingy. I personally wouldn’t come back but since we drove far to try it, we decided to do so.

Ok.. I read the reviews before I went there an it seemed good but nahh the jollof rice is terrible. They even gave me burnt rice, old food they probably cooked 2days ago and chopped big onions. Waste of money . I wish I didn’t have to drive that far to get this food

The owner here and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. My husband and I tried FuFu for the first time and it was finger-licking good. Also, we tried the jollof rice with tilapia, which was tasty and very spicy. If you are seeking to try or want some good African food this is your spot! Thank you for serving us.

Best Nigerian place to go to, the Egusi & Obono soups are my two favorites. Just remember to tell them mild spices if you dont do spicy. But if you do spicy, have at it. The owner is super kind and makes sure you’re taken care of. Definitely a go to place when I’m in Maryland again. Will be back soon.

Told the owner what I wanted and we agreed on a time. They tried to sell me stale food when I got there – like food made few days ago. Seriously??? I reached out to the owner that I wanted fresh food. She never responded to me again. They’re going to make people sick! Maryland Health Department needs to pay them a visit.
