Friday night paddle drawing is a blast. I believe it starts at 5pm. Decent fish fry for $10.50 on Fridays. We ate at Rockdale bar and grill twice while in town. Typical bar food, but the owner and staff are above average. Thanks for making us feel welcomed.

We love Rockdale. It’s truly a gem outside of Madison. We park at Camrock Park and walk to the bar, order a beer and food and then walk back to our car. It’s got it all… affordable prices, great scenery, an awesome patio, and free popcorn. Highly, highly recommend! Also, be sure to order their tiny tots!

We stopped in after biking at CamRock, it’s just too close not to stop. The bartender was super friendly. They have a nice selection of beers and the food was ridiculously good and modestly priced. I even commented to the bartender that they should probably charge more. Not sure when I’ll be back in the area but I’ll definitely stop in.

Not very family friendly with ppl smoking on the deck and there’s typically men at the bar swearing loudly… even during “grill” hours not “bar” hours. However, on the positive side, the view of the creek is beautiful and the food is consistently good!! Love the Reuben and sweet potato fries.
