This place was a solid 3.5. Half the food wasn’t good and half was. The fresh toast sticks with dip and the breakfast burger were solid. The biscuit & gravy wasn’t that flavorful. The hanky panky was odd it was not chunky enough to really put it on the crisps. The service was good and vibe was nice. I wish they had a bigger menu to want to go back to try other things.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place and today we had to golden opportunity. We stopped in for lunch. Blown away by the quality of food. One thing I want to point out was the macaroni salad was so fresh. You could tell it was not purchased from the store. The noodles were al dente. The tomatoes were fresh and not a heavy amount of sauce. It’s how it’s supposed to be done. We got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer in the sauce that they put on the side is amazing. The fried green tomatoes were cooked perfectly. My wife got the chicken and waffles and I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich beyond perfect the chicken thigh was amazing. This place puts cooking as the first priority. We will definitely come back time and time again this is a hidden gem in Amelia. Thank you Stonehouse for providing such an amazing meal. I love supporting places that care about the customer.
We came back to eat again this time. My wife got the salmon and it was delicious for her. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich again and it was amazing. I’m adding this part to let you know about the desert. The blackberry cobbler is one of the most delicious things we’ve ever eaten get to the desert. If you go there it is just as equally delicious as the main entrée.

Super cool atmosphere. Service was good & food selections were good. Everything tasted amazing. We will be back! We got the fried green tomatoes and the sauce was sooooo good. Fried cod was crispy and full of flavor & the burger was cooked to request temp and juicy.

Had the opportunity to have dinner here the other night. My husband and I shared the poutine. This was our favorite- little on the pricey size for the portion size. For our main meals I got the savory and sweet- I opted to not have the bacon-tomato spread which resulted in a dry sandwich- however dipped in the gravy from the poutine made it worth it. I highly recommend offering the gravy as a backup instead of the spread. Husband got the porky- he said it was good however the apple butter made the bread soggy and the sandwich fell apart quickly.
Other than the food, the restaurant is nice inside and has potential- it is one of the priciest around Amelia so I’m curious to see how they do. Service was okay- our waitress was MIA for awhile so someone else had to jump in and take drink orders. When she was present the conversations were very awkward. Judging by the other reviews it looks like the menu might change every so often. I’d like to come back when the tacos are available.

I have a large family of 6 that includes 5 boys. We arrived at stone house at 8:30 and they close at 9. I was worried they wouldn’t serve us but they were very accommodating. They were very understanding when my 2 and 7 year olds didn’t want to sit still as well. My fried pork tenderloin was good but I gotta say the croutons in that house salad were hands down the best croutons I’ve ever ate in my life but even more than that they were the best thing I’ve tasted period for years. They melt in your mouth. Overall I was more than impressed with their soft opening. My bill for all 6 of us was $130 which isn’t bad given that 2 of them are high school football players and eat ten times what I eat in a week in one day. It’s worth noting that you have to turn at the light towards new sub division and circle behind the restaurant in order to get into parking lot.

I waited quite a while and gave them a second chance. It was decent. Went a third time. Still decent. Service was never improved. Went one more time and it was the worst it had ever been. Everything was loaded with salt. No one at the table could eat their food. We paid for a $100 meal no one ate. Service was still really bad. I heard they are closing next month. I wished them well. Gave them more chances than I should have. It sucks they couldn’t figure it out. Having a decent place to eat in Amelia would have been great.
Service is very bad. Our waitress was slow, couldn’t remember the drink order. Couldn’t be bothered to stop at the table. VERY limited menu. If you only make a few items they should be done well.
My sandwich is what I imagine a skillet full of grease tastes like after you fry chicken. No other flavors. Just grease. The cup of ketchup for the fries was SOLID. Waited 20 minutes to ask for a check.

Went tonight for that lobster ravioli with salmon and it was amazing!!! (I really wanted to lick the bowl clean, but did as best as I could ) Highly recommend trying it out. The hubby had the fish and chips to go with his Guinness, which made us both miss Ireland and ready for our next trip there.

Awesome little place.
I can’t wait for the summer to utilize their patio and tap list.
Looks like they intend to have a decent selection of beers on tap. Looked liked at least 12 taps.
A small menu, although a little something for every taste and almost every item can be ordered gluten free, vegetarian and even vegan.
We had the Chicki-churry to start and I could have eaten a whole meal if just that. 4 pieces of naan and wonderfully spiced veggies and chick peas appetizer. You won’t regret this choice.
My wife had the black bean burger and I had the savory and sweet chicken sandwich.
Pricing is perfect. Portions are generous but not too much.
The manager waited on us since we sat at the bar. They don’t have their liquor license in yet but the bar is going to be a really comfy place to grab a drink and watch a game.
The entire staff seemed genuinely nice and very helpful, knowledge and ready to serve.
We will be back to try other menu items and again, really looking forward to that patio.

Amelia finally gets a restaurant !! They did a great job turning this house into a restaurant . The inside is comfortable and there is various seating choices. There is also a porch available . The food is upgraded bar food. Everything I had was tasty. The cocktails are also good.

The server was very friendly and helpful. We sat outside on the patio. The place is new and clean. However, google map gave incorrect entrance. I submitted the correction.
The food was good. The portion was good/enough for the price.
