I stopped in with my Dad for a burger and a beer. I went with the rodeo smash burger with fries and was not disappointed! The smoked jalapeno was delicious! Service was very quick and the whole staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here since they first opened and tried almost every item that has featured on the menu and specials, and things out of my comfort zone. That being said, I have not had a single bad appetizer, soup, meal or dessert here once. The creativity is unique and delicious, the consistency of their dishes are always on point, and the food is FRESH.
Owner, chef and staff are all very, nice, personable, and very interactive with you. Never forgetting a refill or personally coming to ask feedback. Many years, and meals from here to deserve this feedback and all my personal photos.
Hands down best restaurant in Gorham, New Hampshire

Excellent find for our trip. Service was great but I believe with the amountof guests, more than 2 servers tending to the guests and the bar would have been beneficial. The food, appetizer – the five minute fries and entrée- the Maine lobster rolls, were absolutely delicious. Will probably be coming back tomorrow.

I don’t usually leave a review for one visit. But this place is so good. We got the sweet chili wing and goat pizza. The prices are actually quite good considering the quality of the food. The atmosphere is nice and laid back. Some of the bar customers sang a little which was really nice. Don’t let the portions fool you I found it to be very satisfying. Jakob was well informed and pleasant. I can’t wait to visit the area again just to come here.

Went for the Wood fired Pizza, which they no longer make. Wasn’t disappointed as everything I had was exceptional. Bartender was the owner. Will be back to try other varieties of smash burgers.

This is a cool little place with a pretty interesting menu. It’s not everyday I see teriyaki octopus as a choice. There were a lot of different things that seemed intriguing but ultimately I went with the fish and chips. The wild caught haddock was breaded really nicely with Shipyard seasoning. I love how crispy the breading was while still have flaky fish inside. The homemade tartar sauce was a great addition as well.

This place exceeded our expectations- something I don’t say often! It’s an unpretentious restaurant with superb food. High quality ingredients and everything is made there, down to the salad dressing. I’d go out of my way to come back!

This place was perfect for gluten intolerant individuals. From the GF menu, which is opposite side of the regular, dedicated fryers (which is clearly labeled on the menu), to accommodating staff, it’s a must try! The food was phenomenal! The best meal out we’ve had in a long time. Homemade chips and fries were killer, and the shaved steak sandwich was very tender and flavorful. The cook definitely knows what they’re doing!! The cozy environment with choose your own seating creates such an enjoyable meal out. It’s so hard to find anywhere good to eat with allergies anymore, especially in smaller, rural towns…so we appreciated all the small touches. Try it know your next drive through Gorham!

Never had a bad meal. From breakfast, pizza, to steak tips to name only a few everything so far has been tasty. Service is excellent with friendly staff. Never had to ask for a drink refill because they are right on it.

The Public House Eatery was not only delicious at every bite, the chill atmosphere and fun staff added to the whole experience. We were tired hikers and not only did it provide the needed caloric intake, it provided an uplifting energy. We had the falafel and mushroom appetizers, and shared a salad with the goat cheese pizza. Not much else to say but don’t hesitate to eat here. Everything was cooked and flavored to perfection and we left much happier and with much more energy than we came in with. Enjoy!!
